Refund policy

Players who wish to officially withdraw from the competition MUST send us an email at [email redacted] stating that he or she is withdrawing from the tournament, regardless of the notice period. A phone call or face-to-face conversation with one of the tournament directors is not considered formal and therefore not valid.
Players on the waitlist who paid their entry fee but did not secure a spot in the tournament will receive a 100% refund after registration for the tournament closes. This also applies to waitlisted players who request a refund before registration officially closes.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the competition at least 30 days before the start of the tournament will receive a 100% refund of their entry fee.
Players who officially request to withdraw from the competition 15 to 29 days before the start of the tournament will receive a 100% refund of their entry fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by another player who is on the waitlist at the time the withdrawal request is made. If the player's spot is not filled, the player will receive the player pack they would have received if they had attended. For a player in the pro division, they will receive a 50% refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the competition 14 to 2 days before the start of the tournament will receive a 100% refund of their entry fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by another player who is on the waitlist at the time the withdrawal request is made. If the player's spot is not filled, the player will receive the player pack they would have received if they had attended. For a player in the pro division, they will receive a 25% refund.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the competition 48 hours or less before the start of the tournament are NOT entitled to a refund.
If, in the unlikely event, a division needs to be canceled due to a lack of registered players, each player in that division who does not wish to be moved to another division they are eligible to compete in will receive a 100% refund.

If the tournament is canceled, all currently registered or waitlisted players will receive a 100% refund of their entry or registration fee. In the case of a disaster that prevents the tournament from taking place by making the course unavailable, and only with prior approval from the PDGA Director of Event Support, we may provide players registered in amateur divisions with a player pack and a partial refund equal to the difference between the retail value of the player pack and the entry fee amount.

If the tournament is postponed, all players currently registered or on the waitlist will receive a 100% refund of their entry or registration fee if they request it. Once a new date is announced, all who are still registered or on the waitlist will be notified by email and given a fair opportunity to receive a 100% refund of their entry or registration fee if they find the new date unsuitable.

More information about withdrawals and refunds can be found on the PDGA website.
