For spectators, you are in for a treat on Thursday - Feature FPO Card tees on Course Infinite at 9:20 AM. FPO feature card includes Catrina Allen Jennifer Allen, Sofia DOnnecke, and Taylor chocek. Then, about the time that the FPO are finished, the feature MP40 Card tees on Course Innova at 12:30 PM. MP40 feature card includes Nathan Sexton, Steven Rico, Martin Hendel, and Cary Trotter. Then, about the time that the MP40 are finished, the feature MPO Card tees on Course Millennium at 3:40 PM. MPO feature card includes Calvin Heimburg, Bradley Williams, Matthew Orum, and Garrett Gurthie.

What a great first day to watch a lot of great disc golf! Non-stop action all day long!!!

Hello … again … 2025 LVC presented by Innova Players, Sponsors, Vendors, Volunteers, and Spectators!
Here are a few updates and/or clarifications since the April 30th e-mail was sent. (The original April 30th e-mail is included in comments dated April 30th.)

A) Refunds – We are currently processing 25% registration refunds through 5 PM PST on Sunday. Then, registration closes and no more refunds.

B) Tee Times - Tee times will be posted Sunday, May 11th, after 5 PM PST. Our Estimated Tee Time Slots flyer was just recently posted on the Disc Golf Scene registration page and the main event website at lvcdg.com.

C) Schedule of Events / Practice Rounds – Tee time reservations are NOT required for practice rounds on Monday through Wednesday. Practice rounds are limited to badged players and volunteers (after course set-up is done), and no more than four players per group. Practice Course Starters will help ensure these conditions are being met.

D) Silent Auction – The items are up and posted at airauctioneer.com/2025-las-vegas-challenge-silent-auction. Bidding on silent auction items closes at 2:30 PM on Sunday (a little bit before the lead MPO card goes out).

E) LLS Distance & Putting competitions – Although the scheduled show they are running until 3 PM, you need to check-in with Team Carson at the Driving & Putting station (located on Course Millennium, Holes 1/2), BEFORE 2 PM.

F) Caddie Books – One error was found in the caddie book. For Course Millennium, Hole 18, it is a Par 4 for the B Layout.

Also, the bees are back for Course Innova, Hole 15. We had to move the baskets a little shorter and to the right. The NEW distance is 383 feet from the A Tee Ped (68 feet shorter), and 263 feet from the B Tee Pad (86 feet shorter). Pars remain 3.

G) Marshalls & Spotters Designated as Hole Marshalls – Some spotters will be designated as a marshal for that hole. That means that the group cannot override their call. (Personally, I am not sure how players think they have a better viewpoint than spotters in most cases.)

H) Weather – Weather is going to be … in Vegas standards … pretty nice. Starting Tuesday, there will be water one the course (at each Hole 1 and then about halfway through each course). Water is for players only. Please make sure you have enough water when you start your round. Text the number on the signage at each water station if the water supply is getting low.

I) Ants – The nice weather has brought out ants. We sprayed where we saw them around the tee pads today. Let staff know if you see an ant problem around the tee pads.

9d) Marshals – All LVC marshals will likely be wearing yellow LVC hats. For groups that allow players to clearly take excessive time (see 802.03), the player shall receive a warning for the first violation and a one-throw penalty thereafter during the same round. Additionally, the other members of the group will likely also receive a warning for permitting undue delay and not enforcing the rules (3.02(D)). SPEED OF PLAY - All competitors shall play without undue delay and make every effort to keep up with the group in front of them. Undue delay means delays in play, other than as permitted by rule, that affect the pace of play of the group behind them. (See CM 3.02.) The rules permit you to check for wind, use rangefinders, change discs, discuss options with your caddie, etc. – but all must be done within your allowed 30 seconds. The 30 seconds starts when a reasonable amount of time is given to arrive at and determine the lie, and the playing area remains clear. (See OR 802.03.) Loud or annoying noises do not reset the 30-second clock. A player causing undue delays should be issued an excessive time violation. Players are expected to call a violation when one has clearly occurred. A call must be made promptly to be enforceable. If a group as a whole causes undue delay or refuses to enforce rules is a courtesy violation and may be issued a tournament warning for overt failure or refusal to enforce rules.

9e) Illegal Smoking/Drinking - Simply will not be tolerated. This is Nevada’s premier disc golf event, so please respect it. During formal play, it is immediately disqualification…no ifs, and, or buts.

9f) Media - All professional media equipment and coverage (including personal use of anything except a cell phone) MUST be approved by Innova’s Media Team. Professional media equipment will not be allowed on-site without a valid Medias Pass. Wildhorse is a private facility and all media rights are owned in partnership by the LVC and Innova.

9g) Merchandise Sales - We have over $250,000 in direct and indirect sponsorships from various sponsors. On-site selling of any kind of merchandise or promotion of any product, including in the parking lot, is prohibited without permission.

9h) Animals – Only formal/licensed service dogs are allowed at Wildhorse. It is not a public park.

9i) Lost Discs - Lost discs will be kept near the Lucky Disc Golf & TechDisc booth.

10) Facebook Group - Is “The Las Vegas Challenge presented by Innova.” Please be sure to follow updated posted via that social media option.

9) Elevated Standards & Majoresque Requirements – Team LVC, Innova Disc Golf, Innova Factory Store, Millennium Golf Discs, and Infinite Discs want to bring you an event where everyone is treated like professionals, at an elevated standard equal to or better than the PDGA’s Major events. (Who else ropes three courses for an event?) With that being said, there are some requirements that may be different than that you are used to at other PDGA sanctioned events.

9a) Player & Caddie Dress Code - Is that required for PDGA Majors, and a PDGA waiver has been approved since this is a requirement for Wildhorse - All players and their assigned caddie are expected to dress appropriately and to maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance. CM 4.04 is being enforced for players and caddies (we are treating the event like a Major, something missing west of the Colorado Rockies) and a waiver is not necessary from the PDGA since Wildhorse is a private facility. At a minimum, the outermost upper garment cannot be a tank-top or t-shirt. Shirts that hang down lower than the bottom hemline on the player’s lower garment shall be tucked in. No ripped shirts, shorts, or pants are allowed, including unhemmed garments, or garments with torn or cut “vents” at the shirt collar. No offensive, profane, or obscene slogans or logos are allowed on clothing.

9b) Caddie Bibs, Caddie Quantities, and Spectators – Is that required for PDGA Majors, and a PDGA waiver has been approved - A caddie is a person who carries a player's equipment and/or assists the player during their round. Players may designate one caddie at a time during their round and they must wear the provided caddie vest. A caddie must be at least 13 years of age and must comply with the same rules & requirements as their player, including the dress code. The Player is solely responsible for their caddie’s conduct from the two-minute signal until the player’s scorecard is submitted. Any penalties for misconduct by a caddie will be applied to both player and caddie. Caddies are not part of the player group for the purposes of making group calls or rulings (also see Player Group). A PDGA waiver has been approved to enforce CM 4.03 at the LVC.

9c) Smoking Areas - The designated smoking areas for all individuals present include parking lots, streets and service roads, outside balconies, and within 30 feet of any restroom or port-a-potty. Pace of play rules still apply. Any open and visual possession of any product banned under the smoking policy will be treated as a courtesy violation, and violators will be asked to put away the product until after the round has concluded. A PDGA waiver has been approved to enforce CM 4.04 at the LVC.

7e) LLS Distance & Putting competitions – Both on Wednesday, from 9 AM to 3 PM, for eight (8) divisions (Open, Open Female, Aged-Pros, Aged-Female Pros, Advanced, Advanced Female, Remaining Ams, Remaining Female Ams) at Course Millennium, Hole 1. Cost is $10 per trial for 5 throws for Driving and $10 for 3 tries for Putting. Try as many times as you would like. $5,000 is being donated to our non-profit partner, LLS – Team Carson! Anyone can participate!! Each winner wins a Jacquart Events LLC $100 gift card, or $1,600 in total prizes!!!

7f) CTP Contests – All players will participate in a CTP contest, per course, per day. The Thursday through Saturday CTPs are worth around $600 in goods. The Sunday CTP contests are worth around $800!

7g) Tournament Aces - All official Tournament Aces (no longer the longest, per day, per course) are worth $100 and the player receives a LVDGC Ace disc too! Everyone in at no extra cost. Over the last five years, we had 5 Aces hit in 2024, 1 Ace in 2023, 2 Aces in 2022, 4 Aces in 2021, and 3 Aces in 2020. Total prize estimated around $500!

7h) Super Ace Pot ($5 Buy-In) - The $5 Super Ace Pool is split between those that paid into the Super Ace Pot, and the player receives a LVDGC Ace disc! Over the last five years, we had 3 of the 5 Aces hit in 2024 be “Super” (worth $1,625), 0 of the 1 Ace hit in 2023 be “Super” (worth $12,290), 0 of the 2 Aces hit in 2022 be “Super” (worth $1,790), 2 of the 4 Aces in 2021 be “Super” (worth $1,700), and 2 of the 3 Aces hit in 2020 be “Super” (worth $1,810). Total prize estimated around $1,500! Don’t miss out on this gamble!

The final caddie books include additional tournament information the draft caddie books did not contain. Paper copies of the caddie books are will not be provided. 7) Sponsors – Thanks to our 100+ sponsors, $20,000 cash is being added to the Pro Purse (over a 150% purse payback), Pros get a small player’s package valued at over $40, the trophy-only Am side includes over a $400 players package (over a 500% payback), and our volunteers also get a $350+ thank you package. And, each $100+ sponsor also gets at least an Innova Team LVC Gold Aviar disc as a thank you. We have lots of side-bar activities going on during the LVC, giving away around $15,000 in sponsored goods! 7b) Raffle – Closes Saturday night at 5 PM & pulled soon thereafter. Prizes can be picked up Sunday in the banquet room. Tickets cost $1 for 1 ticket, $5 for 7, $10 for 20, $20 for 50, $50 for 150, $100 for 400, and $200 for 1,000. Anyone can participate! Over $2,000 in raffle items!!

7c) Ring-of-Fires – Occurs each evening around 7 PM (or after the last card putts out). Over $2,500 in goods, around $400 per night. No fee to enter, everyone is welcome to participate, and we have extra discs if you forgot to bring one!

7d) Silent Auction - Around $4,000 in auction items, including a helicopter tour for two to the Grand Canyon and back! Bidding ends Sunday around 7 PM. Anyone can participate! All on-site parking has been reserved for Registered Players, Full-Time Volunteers, Vendors, Media Partners, Platinum VIP Spectators, Full-Event Spectators, Special Guests. Based on parking usage, it is expected that limited quantities of daily parking passes will be sold at $20 per day. Individuals who wish to purchase a Spectator Pass, which comes with a parking pass, can via the Disc Golf Scene registration page. (Select "Register," then "SPEC - Spectator." The Full-Event Spectator registration ($50, and limited to 50) includes (1) a Parking Pass (good for entire event), (2) a Badge (allows access to the co-branded Sexton Firebirds / Heimburg Toros Line #2 on Saturday night), (3) Access to all Spectator Areas, and (4) various “Everyone” Sidebar Activities (bring a putter for the nightly Ring-of-Fires). 5) Parking Areas - With limited parking available at Wildhorse and prohibited on adjacent streets, you must have a parking pass displayed on your rear-view mirror to park at Wildhorse (after you check-in, of course). Your first order of business is to check in. No parking is available on-site for caddies, friends, or family unless they purchase a Platinum VIP or Full Event spectator pass. Limited daily parking passes will be available at $20 per day. Caddies should carpool with their players. Family members and friends should also carpool with their players. We are requesting as many players, volunteers, and vendors as possible to park on the Driving Range. 3b) Player’s Meeting & Player Check Ins – The Player’s Meeting is Wednesday evening, May 14th, at 7 PM. You are required to know the material presented. Most of the material is in the final caddie books (posted last night). Badged Players and Platinum VIP Spectators can purchase the 2025 co-branded LVC Sexton Firebirds and Heimburg Toros after the meeting, based on a number provided to you during the meeting. Players are required to check-in for the event at least two hours before your scheduled tee time. (Hint – the sooner you check in, the more merchandise you can chose from our numerous sponsors!) All check-ins are accommodated in the banquet room. Players are also required to check-in with the course starter five minutes before their scheduled tee time each day.

3c) Fly Mart, Player’s Party, & Public Release of Firebirds/Toros – The Fly Mart is all day Saturday, May 17th, and the Player’s Party (and the Tower of Baskets) starts around 5 PM. Looks like our own music producer and DJ, Zack Gray, will providing us with some great music that evening! Public release of the 2025 co-branded LVC Sexton Firebirds and Heimburg Toros is Saturday, May 17th, starting around 7 PM, during the Fly Mart. Three lines will merge into 1: Line #1, late Players and Platinum VIP Spectators (those who didn’t attend the Player’s Meeting); Line #2, All Other Badged; and then Line #3, All Non-badged (not sure how many will be left for Line #3 participants).

3d) Post-LVC - On Monday, May 19th, Course Innova will be open for pay-to-play by anyone, and free to badged volunteers. You MUST start on Hole 1 no later than 7:30 AM, and tee time reservations strongly encouraged to ensure play (call 702-434-9000, ext. 1, up to three days in advance).

Hello all 2025 LVC presented by Innova Players, Sponsors, Vendors, Volunteers, and Spectators!

In less than 12 days, starting Monday, May 12th, the Wildhorse Golf Club is shut down for the 2025 Las Vegas Challenge presented by Innova Champion Discs – our 26th Anniversary event! Although we try as hard as we can to provide as many updates as needed via our website (lvcdg.com), the Disc Golf Scene registration page, and the LVC Facebook social media page (facebook.com/lvcdg), we are sure a few slip through the cracks.

Forgive the lengthy correspondence, but we want to make sure everyone is well informed.

1) Refunds – We are currently processing 50% registration refunds. 25% refunds start THIS Friday, May 2nd, at 5 PM PST. No refunds are issued after registration closes on Sunday, May 11th, at 5 PM PST. Our REFUND flyer is posted on the Disc Golf Scene registration page and the main event website at lvcdg.com.

2) Tee Times – Tee times will be posted Sunday, May 11th, after 5 PM PST. Our COURSE ASSIGNMENTS & TEEING ORDER flyer is posted on the Disc Golf Scene registration page and the main event website at lvcdg.com. First tees start at 7:00 AM and last tees are around 4:00 / 4:30 PM.

3) Schedule of Events – Wildhorse does not become our facility until Monday morning, May 12th. Formal LVC Check-In and practice days are Monday, May 12th through Wednesday, May 14th. Only badged players may practice the courses (and some badged volunteers once the courses get set up). The courses are closed to all practice activities after Wednesday evening. Formal play days are Thursday, May 15th through Sunday, May 18th. Only the top 40% play Sunday, and most Sunday tee times are earlier than the prior three days. Tee-time reservations are not required for the three practice days, and golf carts are available to rent. Throwing nets and multiple baskets are provided in our designated Putt & Drive Grounds powered by Vivid Golf practice area. Sunset Park is less than 3 miles due west of Wildhorse for additional disc golf play/practice. Our SCHEDULE OF EVENTS flyer is posted on the Disc Golf Scene registration page and the main event website at lvcdg.com.

3a) Pre-LVC - If you are in town the Saturday prior the LVC, May 10th, we have partnered with the 19th Hole & Ba Booze Bash Music Festival. (A non-disc golf activity at Wildhorse.) Acts include Sister Nancy, Sudden Rush, Roots by Design, Mojo Reggae, and more. Food trucks and vendors. Tickets start at $25 for adults, $15 for Ages 11 – 18, and Free for Ages 10 and under. (Go to 19thholebash.com for more information & ticket sales.)

Additionally, on Sunday, May 11th (Mother’s Day), Wildhorse’s Afternoon Course (last four holes of Course Millennium and all 18 Holes of Course Innova) will be open for pay-to-play by anyone. First tee available starts at 1:00 PM, and tee-time reservations strongly encouraged to ensure play. (Call 702-434-9000, ext. 1, up to three days in advance.) Courses are being set up at the same time, so please be patient. (Note that LVC check-in does not start until Monday morning at 7:00 AM.)

Reminder that a 100% refund for the 2025 LVC presented by Innova Discs ends TODAY at 5 PM PST.

We shared the stamps and some pics of the 2025 co-branded LVC Nate Sexton Firebirds & Calvin Heimburg Toros on the Las Vegas Challenge presented by Innova Facebook group. Plastic type is the Color Glow Moondust! Prices will be $25 each.

Players and Platinum VIPs can get them after the Player's Meeting on Wednesday, May 14th.

Then on Saturday, during the all-day Fly Mart, starting around 7 PM (after the last cards are completed), Players and Platinum VIPs who didn't get them on Wednesday can get them if in Line #1. All other badged attendees (Full-Event Spectators, Vendors, Caddies, Media, etc.) can get in Line #2. All non-badged can get in Line #3.
Limit will be one of each per person, until everyone in Lines #1, #2, & #3 have a change to acquire them.

Around 650 Firebirds and 550 Toros were stamped. Around 450 of each are available for Player/Public purchase.

Based on the latest sign-ups, we have moved the FA3 & FA2 divisions from the F Pool to the C Pool. This allows more spacing between the draft tee times. The FA3 & FA2 divisions still play the same courses, just now on different days and a little later in the morning. This change also allows ALL the women divisions to play close to each other on Thursday and Saturday. This change also has the MA4 & MA3 divisions playing a little earlier in the morning. The Save the Dates / General Information flyer and Schedule flyer has been updated under DOCUMENtS and PICTURES. These new files will soon be posted on www.lvcdg.com soon. Last year, Wildhorse significantly helped us with our parking problem and allowed us to park on the driving range. This option is being implemented again this year. We are asking all volunteers, vendors, media, and players to park on the driving range until it gets full so spectators, overized vehicles, and others can use the normal lot. Staff will be monitoring space availability on the driving range. Please follow staff's instructions regarding where to park as you approach the cul-de-sac near the front of the Wildhorse clubhouse (of course with your parking pass hanging from your rear-view mirror). (See map under PICTURES. It is #5.)
