If I wasn't able to make it to the field events, can I still request a refund?

Sorry, and no-show money is rolled back into the payout.

Anyone know where you can find info on which post production companies will be covering which cards? Can't seem to find info.

Can players caddy with each other?

Dynamic Discs   August 24, 2022 at 2:13pm

Each player will receive a caddy badge. You can caddy for another player as long as you have that caddy badge.

This traveling is kind of new to me and I need an extra assistance and I would appreciate it,how far is the airport from the courses?

Dynamic Discs   August 22, 2022 at 10:08pm

There are two airports approximately 1.5 hours away from Emporia.

Thanks for the opportunity to play in such a prestigious event! I'm beyond excited to be there! Is there super cheap accomodation close by? Or is there somewhere I can pitch my tent?
Thanks!!

For spectators is there any way to purchase a day pass for a day other than Saturday?

Dynamic Discs   August 3, 2022 at 4:40pm

Unfortunately, no.

Danielle weigandt    August 3, 2022 at 3:34am

I was taken off the waitlist and registered for the event. I need to drop out due to personal reasons. However, I never received an official registration email. Can that be resent to me so I can request a refund? Thank you!

Hi Andrew! Any idea what the email title is? I can't find it anywhere in my spam or inbox folder.

Are caddies allowed to spectate or do they need a spectator ticket?

Andrew Sweeton   July 21, 2022 at 1:41pm

A caddie badge will allow the wearer to spectate, but only in spectator areas. A caddy badge may accompany a group inside the ropes only when performing caddie duties for a player in the group.

Dynamic Discs   July 21, 2022 at 3:47pm

Yes, there will be a Support Badge and a Caddy Badge. The Support Badge allows access to spectator areas as Andrew stated. Caddy Badges allows access inside ropes, following the card more closely.

Only as drops occur, we are full at 224/80 with waitlists.

Clay McGillvary    July 6, 2022 at 4:39pm

Hey, just had to withdraw from the waitlist due to scheduling. Please remove/refund when you get the chance. Thanks!

I would like to know what's the point having open registration if you're not over 1000 rated you won't be able to sign up. I still have 3 weeks before I even have a chance to register and it's already full. Why not just have it for 1000+ rated men, you're cutting out far more players that are in the 980-950 range who can't play AM Worlds anymore because they accepted cash.

This is the World Championships, not the Kansas Championships. Priority should be given to top pros over locals. The more local event is the DDO, where 22% of MPO is rated below 1000.

Jason Brown   May 1, 2022 at 5:47pm

I agree with you, but even DDO had tiered registration and had an even more limited field than worlds. All I'm saying is the PDGA is neglecting a large portion of their pros, who can no longer play AM Worlds because of accepting cash but don't have a chance to register for Pro worlds because it fills before tier 3 or 4 can even attempt to register.

Noah P   June 13, 2022 at 6:18pm

Choosing to accept cash is on you. DDO is an elite series, not the world championships. People local to the Olympics on any given year don’t get to hop on the track just because they’re pretty good.

Danielle weigandt    April 29, 2022 at 12:52am

May I ask why only 80 women were allowed to register and over 200 men were allowed to play?

Andrew Sweeton   April 29, 2022 at 2:47am

Although the space is generally allocated based on PDGA Membership numbers and the number of invitees, we did provide extra space for the FPO division. Although FPO is only 6.8% of all open-age Pros and accounted for 21.5% of the total invitees, we still gave 26.3% of the space to FPO.

Hey Andrew, Henna and Eveliina can’t sign up for some reason. Can you check on this?

Callie, thank you for pointing this out. The error has been fixed and they should be able to sign up now.
