Just checking was this a trophy only event for ams?

Eric Hess   May 16 at 6:39am

Yes. The intention of this event is to provide as much value as possible to all players, including the last place finishers. Therefore an emphasis was placed a premium player pack instead of amateur payouts.

The B.S. Bochantin Upshot store has lots of different disc golf merchandise, over 500 new discs and over 500 used discs. We will be set up at Shiprock both Saturday and Sunday (Cash, Venmo, Paypal)

One of the services we provide is an unwanted disc swap where you can trade in your unwanted discs for a store credit (This is how we get so many used discs). Each PDGA legal disc will be valued $1 to $10. Note that used DX discs are $1. For any player wishing to swap you will give us your discs before round 2 for the day so we can value them while you play.

What if some players are not from that town and are not going to make it up till 10:30 at night are we going to get push out of the tournament because we didn’t check in the day before?

Eric Hess   May 11 at 8:28pm

I will be there until 2AM

dan fisk    May 11 at 1:34pm

Eric Hess   May 11 at 8:28pm

It’s probably best to put in your refund request now.

Mark Sonneborn    May 11 at 1:40am

Hey Eric can you put in MP40 ?

Eric Hess   May 11 at 7:48am

Yes

Nathan Erickson    May 10 at 10:45pm

Will I be able to pick up a player pack for a friend of mine that will not be able to make it friday or does he need to check in himself?

Eric Hess   May 11 at 8:02am

Players must check in themselves.

John Borger   May 11 at 6:18pm

I will be at registration myself but think others should be able to request a special exemption from in person check in for difficult circumstances. Hopefully this would only apply to a few people.

Eric Hess   May 11 at 8:28pm

John, it has posted on the schedule and the about section of this tournament since registration opened. I have little sympathy for those who either planned poorly or disregarded the schedule. I can and will make exceptions in extreme cases. I will not make exceptions for those who planned poorly.

Tim Wilson    May 10 at 1:24pm

I switched last week from MPO to MP40. Will my tee time be changed? or will it stay the same and I'll be a MP40 playing with a card of MPO? Either way is fine. I just wanted to prepare accordingly on Saturday morning. Thanks.

Eric Hess   May 10 at 6:44pm

Your tee time will most likely stay the same.

Eric Hess   May 10 at 1:30am

Tee time requests will be denied.

Nathan Erickson   May 10 at 2:05am

alright

Joseph Kelleher    May 3 at 5:22pm

My work hours run the entire check in time. Is there no way to check in without showing up Friday?

Eric Hess   May 4 at 8:46pm

I will be at check in location until 2AM on Friday night. The check in has been advertised on this page the entire duration since registration opened. All amateurs will need to check in on Friday night during this 10 hour window.

Chris Bleiler    May 3 at 3:28pm

I wanted to clarify that B pool will be playing ship rock silver both rounds? I just looked at the caddy book, and making sure that it was correct, since Discgolf scene shows 1 round gold and 1 round silver

Where is this caddy guide? I’m only seeing the schedule that says 1 gold 1 silver. Thanks

Eric Hess   May 6 at 8:20pm

I’m not sure where you are seeing that. Caddy guide was sent out last week. It will be sent again for changes in drops and adds next week. The flyer says 2 round silver for B pool. The daily schedule says 2 rounds silver for B pool.

Isaiah Lamison   May 7 at 1:41am

Yep, my mistake. I just misread it. Sorry. Thanks for clarifying.
