I echo the previous question about possibly being able to check in/pick up pack in the morning before the first round (also travelling from fairly far away and would like to be able to just arrive for the playing days!)

Notable tournaments last year where Kayla or myself had check-in the day before the event at a venue include; PDGA AM Worlds, Junior Worlds, Ledgestone, and Green Mountain Championship. This format is the standard for high level events. It adds value to the event (free tokens to play games), helps build a community feel, decreases the amount of human resources needed the day of event, and gives players more time to warm up for their rounds. It has nothing to do with where a player resides. Again, this is non negotiable. Exceptions will only be granted in specific cases with extenuating circumstances.

I’m an effort to accommodate players that are making a longer trip, I specifically did these two things. I made the check-in time window a very generous 5 hours. I also decided to make the players meeting virtual.
