The topic covered in this workshop is Spins. The workshop is scheduled from 4 PM to 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 27th.
The cost for the workshop is $30.
Expert artists will teach participants tips and tricks necessary to utilize the workshop topic to create some very cool discs! Each participant will receive a bottom-stamped blank Fuzion disc to dye during the workshop. The Dye Academy will provide all dyes and supplies during the workshop.
The workshop will be held in a classroom at the Emporia Arts Center located in downtown Emporia at 815 Commercial Street.
Truly Hard Seltzer will be providing complimentary beverages to the participants during the workshop.

Mike O’Hearn
Mike is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and has been playing disc golf for 12 years now. He started dyeing discs in 2018 but really dove in during the Spring of 2020. Mike started Lucky Dyes in the Summer of 2020. Mike specializes in pours and lotion beds but is proud to offer a multitude of styles through Lucky Dyes to satisfy all types of dye lovers!

Diran Missak Omaha,NE Pdga #65864
Diran has been playing sanctioned disc golf since 2014 and dyed his first disc in August 2020. He specializes in stencils, hot dips, and working with customers to create something unique. Diran recently started doing spin dyes as well and is excited to participate in the dye academy.

Jason Winkel PDGA# 95617
Jason lives in Pratt, Kansas, and has been dyeing discs for the last five years. His brand Bull Winkel Dyes is known for producing some of the most vibrant discs on the market in various styles. Jason enjoys figuring out how to perform different techniques and specializes in lotion beds. He is excited to teach others about this art form, and his favorite part of dyeing is seeing someone’s face when they react to a new dye.
