As Nikolas asked below, May I check in tomorrow before I play? And if so, what time would be acceptable with my t-time of 4:10 PM? I came to practice on Wednesday, and, before I went on the course, my name was checked off, but I’m not sure what the purpose of that was. Otherwise if I cannot check in tomorrow, then do I need to drive all the way out there tonight for a late check in?

Come earlier than 15 minutes to check-in before your tee time, thanks!

Elaine Zuker   July 18, 2020 at 5:13am

Thank you!!

Dynamic Discs   July 18, 2020 at 6:25am

Yep...show up no later than 15 minutes before your posted tee time.

Nickolas Jensen    July 17, 2020 at 2:14pm

Would I be able to check in for the Meier lake classic tomorrow morning before my tee time?

Dynamic Discs   July 18, 2020 at 6:26am

Yep..be here no later than 15 minutes before your tee time.

Steven Ford    July 16, 2020 at 12:30am

Any possible way to still register for this event if wanting to do so?

Dynamic Discs   July 16, 2020 at 4:18pm

It is too late to register for this event. We are accepting walk-up registrations on Friday evening for the Battle Under the Midnight Sun Flex Start C-Tier. Folks can tee off anytime between 6PM and 10PM. Please bring cash for your entry fee.

Steven Ford   July 16, 2020 at 10:45pm

Awesome, thanks for the reply!

John Roe    July 9, 2020 at 5:10pm

Hey Doug,
Are you guys bringing up plastic to sell?

Chad Rutledge   July 9, 2020 at 6:03pm

I'll buy a black ezCart if you guys schlep one up here, lol

Dynamic Discs   July 10, 2020 at 1:27pm

I believe that Eric McCabe and Paige Shue may have some discs available. We are not bringing a bunch of discs to sell though...there are some cool player pack discs that we will have for folks though!

Are caddies and spectators allowed at this tournament? I know things have been ever-changing with the Covid-19 health mandates and recommendations, and it seems like it's been a per tournament per location based decision for disc golf.

Dynamic Discs   July 7, 2020 at 7:23pm

At this point, caddies and spectators will be allowed.

Joe Caissie    July 7, 2020 at 4:28am

Will the course be open on the day of the tournament prior to the noon tee times?

Oh didn't see that part of the email (I only noticed the non-tournament days). Thanks!

Joe Caissie   July 7, 2020 at 4:45am

Guessing they'll have to extend the tee times, though - even if they send a foursome out every 10 minutes, that's only 96 people who can fit in the 12-4 window.

Dynamic Discs   July 7, 2020 at 7:26pm

We will likely have folks teeing off until 5PM...waiting to see what the final numbers are fo players. You are correct though - groups of 4 every 10 minutes.

Gabe Kutcher    July 6, 2020 at 3:18pm

Thanks for the map. What are the hole distances? Map did not have them listed.
Is there drone footage? Maybe someone local.

How cart friendly is this course?

Dynamic Discs   July 1, 2020 at 10:26pm

Relatively cart friendly...you may have to pick it up over a few rough spots.

Just want to make sure travelers from out of state are informed about Alaska’s current health mandates: https://covid19.alaska.gov/travelers/
Looks like folks need to provide proof of a negative test or self quarantine for 14 days. Thanks for helping to keep our state and our disc golf community safe!

Agreed. Thanks for posting this.

John Roe   July 8, 2020 at 5:25pm

Thanks, this is pretty important due to a lot of our cases are coming from outside.

Oliver Salem    June 27, 2020 at 8:15am

I think I missed the ace pot option on my registration. Is there a way to add me into it still?

Carlton Reynolds   June 27, 2020 at 1:24pm

you can edit your registration and add the acepot.

Dynamic Discs   June 28, 2020 at 1:57am

IF you are unable to do this through discgolfscene.com you can add it when you sign in at the event.

Mike Briseno    June 26, 2020 at 11:33pm

I just got off the phone with Steve from Meier Lake and he told me there is not any camping available on site for the disc golf tournament. However everything posted here is in conflict with that. Can you please clarify and/or update the information about the tournament?
I also was told that the course is only available for playing, prior to the tournament, during the doubles rounds on Wednesday and Thursday, and then for the Friday night tournamen ... more

Dynamic Discs   June 28, 2020 at 1:56am

Okay, thank you for responding.

Dynamic Discs   June 20, 2020 at 6:25pm

The field was just expanded to 100. Everyone on waitlist got in...in fact we have an open spot currently as well...

Dynamic Discs   June 24, 2020 at 12:14am

You have to pay the entry fee to get on the waitlist.

Gabe Kutcher    May 20, 2020 at 10:11pm

The course will be open for play starting on Wednesday, July 15th. This is a brand new course and will be worth the wait to play.

Joe Caissie   June 26, 2020 at 1:04am

Will it be open during the day on Wednesday? Thinking of sneaking out of work early and getting a couple rounds in before doubles.

Dynamic Discs   June 28, 2020 at 1:55am

Yes, Wednesday is the first day it will be open for play for tournament participants.

Shay Stewart    January 16, 2020 at 7:02pm

Property is already fully booked for the month of July.
