How come this changed from first come first serve for melons to a raffle for them? I would've been really mad if I got there early for one and then got told that......

I've also heard through the grapevine that the brats event has 28 melons? Isn't there a limit at 25 per circuit?

No, that only had to change here because of the larger size and not being allowed to have anyone here very early. BRATS is not changing- FCFS but like it says may not arrive more than 1 hour early. We only have 24 there.

I got there very early because it was FCFS but I'm not mad they switched it up, they did what they thought was fair. I wasn't drawn for a melon unfortunately but there are more events. I do wish there were the little trophy discs for the different divisions but completely understand they only get what MVP sends. The Axiom Polo I got with my payout is sweet enough

Will all I had to do at once, I asked other to help with a few things and they didn't understand the rules of it. I think a mistake was made and I deeply regret it.

Apparently some people gave their ticket to another person and I wasn't there when the drawing started. Because of this, we will NOT allow anything like that to happen again, and come up with a new, foolproof solution.

We're out here and dry skies for now! We'll try to do the putting contest as people finish checking in go straight to putting. Then we'll try to tee off as fast as we can. Must arrive by 9:15 or your spot to play may be given away.

Last updates- there's now 9+ guaranteed spots. Please note that getting here early means a long wait before we tee off. Some people may also have to wait to find out if they got in because we have to see who shows up first. The Watermelon discs will be a drawing of names- at check in you can state whether you wish to buy one or not, if you do you get a raffle ticket. We will draw names after the round then you can buy the disc if you get drawn. There may be putting/distance/basket throw off before the round begins if we can get help running those events, to save time.

Rain or shine- tournament is on- we will delay the tee or bring it in temporarily during any lightning. Plan your time accordingly. Plus most of the shop is on sale all weekend now too, starting today.

It's worth showing up early for a chance to get in with this weather forecast and now 8-9 guaranteed spots! We will try to accomadate all players. At this point after all the rain, we probably won't play the new holes unless they're needed for space.
