I’m afraid I’ll have to drop out of this tournament. My pdga number is 83055 and I’m in advanced. Will I be refunded? Thanks.
Joey Van Duzee April 4, 2018 at 1:37am
I have processed all waitlist refunds. If you move off the waitlist and into the tourney, you will be notified via discgolfscene until Friday evening. Saturday morning will be from the waitlist of who is present. Please check in with tournament staff to let them know you are on standby from the waitlist.
It is showing that I am off the waitlist and in the tournament. Since all waitlist refunds have been processed is there anything else I need to do at this time? Thanks!
Just want to be sure my payment went through and I am all good, your comment above led me to believe that if you were on the waitlist you were refunded. I checked and I dont see the refund on my account so I think I am good, just checking.
Garrett. I just emailed you the transaction details of your refund. I also sent an email asking about your attendance now that you have moved off the waitlist

Per our published plan, divisional caps and been removed and the waitlist has been changed to signup timestamp order. We will process refunds for those on the waitlist this evening but will keep the order visible in the registered players page.
We would go through 23 people before you regardless of what division drops.

I have to drop out Joey. If I can get a refund that's cool. If outs to late I understand.
John Ackerman March 28, 2018 at 9:13pm
Can I get taken off the waitlist with a refund? I didn’t realize there was a waitlist.
Daniel Alexander March 28, 2018 at 5:50pm
Joey, curious to why this event only has 100 spots? With the amount of people on the waitlist seems there is a lot of interest, any chance to open at more spots?
I know each tournament and venue is different but, Orlando Open, which is also a B-Tier event, has 270 spots total any reason such a large discrepancy?
I doubt I will be playing unless something crazy happens since I am wayyyy down the waitlist but, excited none the less for the event and appreciate you putting your time into this.
-Daniel
1 course for Jax. Orlando has 3 courses to work with in one park.
Makes sense, thanks for clarifying ... Good to see such high popularity of the event just unfortunate such large amount of people will not be able to participate, I know of at least of handful other people who wanted to play but didn’t even sign up due to such high number on wait list.
ory nailed it above. Orlando has three courses within the same property. We also choose to set foursome cards as two rounds of 24 are pretty taxing in one day. We find that foursomes flow so much better

Just curious if the 4 open spots left will be filled from the waitlist on April 3rd? If they do not fill up of course.
Yes, we will fill those 4 spots. The waitlist will be moved to timestamped based order at that time, We will fill those 4 spots and issue refunds to those remaining on the waitlist. I will post the list and will contact directly as drops occur and players move in off the waitlist.

What layout will advanced and intermediate be playing. Also I see the course has two pin locations. Are there two baskets on each hole or one basket two sleeves. Curious because we will be practicing the course this Friday and don’t want to practice wrong layout/pin location. Thanks in advance
So will baskets be placed in opposite position for second round. Or will they stay the same the entire tournament?
Also see advanced is blue. Red. Blue. What about intermediate men?
There will be basket moves for every round Just about every position will be played with the exception of the holes that have more than 3 positions

JVD- GPV here, hoping you'll run a five man card in MA 50+, need to make plans for a place to stay....
Chris Hannigan March 26, 2018 at 12:03pm
Sorry I have a family issue that came up this weekend and need to withdraw. I'll try again next year.
Chris, your refund has been issued. Hope to see you next year!
Drew Greene March 20, 2018 at 11:53pm
I hate to say this because I was looking forward to this, but I will be unable to go to this tournament. Can I get a refund please?
Drew, your refund has been processed. Sorry to miss you this year
Justin Forsythe March 20, 2018 at 5:25pm
Something has come up for me and I will not be able to make it. I apologize and hat that I'll miss it. Need a refund please. Thanks
Justin Montes March 17, 2018 at 12:17pm
Hey Joey, could you give me a refund and have me removed from the registration list/waitlist. I didn't do my homework when I signed up I apologize . I seen 5 available spots and did not look to see how many were on wait list for my division. Sorry for the inconvenience and I hope to play next year.
Justin, your refund has been issued. Hope to see your next year!
Chris Pilarski March 15, 2018 at 1:25am
Please remove me from the Waitlist and issue a refund. I will not have enough time to plan time off work and hotels for getting down from St Louis. Will there be another qualifier for this next year later in the year and if so...how would we find out so I can try to get in next year
Chris, your refund has been issued. We will use DG Scene for signups for the end of the year event. Normally mid to late Dec is when we hold it. You can also follow River City Disc Golf Association (Jacksonville, FL) on FB if you are not already doing so. Sorry it did not work out.
Not a problem. I also signed up for Ledgestone and the girlfriend kinda "suggested" that 2 out of town trips might not be the best idea........ I think we all know what that means.
Amanda Rivera March 11, 2018 at 9:31pm
So what pads are advanced Woman playing?
Chris Carrasco March 11, 2018 at 9:15pm
Just curious if theres any possibility in moving me to advanced instead of playing intermediate.
Chris at the moment that would put you on the waitlist in Adv. I would just stay where you are.
Okay ya ill just stay in intermediate rather have a secure spot
joey could me and chris switch spots since neither of us are waitlisted? i am in advanced and would switch with him to intermediate is this possible?
David Thomas March 1, 2018 at 6:18pm
avd master hank mcgorwn has my pdga number.
Chris Pilarski February 8, 2018 at 2:10pm
I still see several people listed as registered that do not have PDGA numbers next to their name....Does this mean they have not paid yet? WIll there be a drop dead date for unpaid players so those of us traveling from Out of Town have time to plan or could they possibly wait until day of; meaning we wouldn't know if we got in until day of?
Chris, you are not required to have a PDGA number to play in this tournament. People elect to pay the $10 and not be a member of the PDGA. This does not mean they have not paid. I believe there is only one person who has an amount due and that was because he moved divisions.
Dalton Smith February 5, 2018 at 3:44pm
hey Joey i tried personally messaging you last week the night of the registration opening, but im guessing you did not see it do to the mass amount of messages that were circulating around this event. I would like to ask for a refund please. Thank you.
Hey Dalton, I am more than happy to refund, but I will say that you have a high likelihood of getting in off the waitilist if that is the main concern
Me and my friend wanted to play together. I think we're going to try it the one in the 28th thank you though
Eli, your registration has been cancelled and refunded.
