Glenn, you seem to be intent on there being some sort of foul play here. Let me clarify, hopefully this helps. The qualifier tournament is open to all to participate in, and allows players the option to register a couple weeks prior to registration being public. As the event is public and open to all, this is perfectly acceptable practice. This has been questioned in the past and we have clarified with the PDGA our understanding is correct. Also please understand payment is required to take part in the event. The asterisks you mention were not indicative of a player not paying, but a result of us not populating all the correct fields when manually keying in these entries. Let's keep in mind this is a disc golf tournament, not a presidential election. Our ONLY goal throughout the process of planning and running this tournament (for 13 years now) is the enjoyment and positive experience of our players. Years of a consistently well ran tournament has created a high demand to participate, which results in the event selling out quickly. Registration has filled in less than 30 minutes for the last 5 years, and if you do some asking I'm quite confident those who have played year after year would have nothing otherwise to say. With that being said, I hope you make it off the waitlist and can enjoy a weekend of great disc golf in Jacksonville.

Simple way of this not happening in future is to already have the pre qualified player or players already shown or put into the description.Giving the ones who register a chance to see if it is or is not feasible to try and make said tournament. They were listed in pdga link. So to help clarify this tournament having the pre registered would of saved allot of headache it seems. I am 4+ hours away and now even being number 1 on my waitlist it's hard to plan a trip with my family for this now because who knows if anyone will drop out. Guess a little time waiting couldn't hurt.

We made it a point to add the players to the registration list when we had them in accordance with the rules etc. However, it seems the settings on discgolfscene were configured to not display the list to the public until the tournament went live. Apologies for the inconvenience.
