I'm registered as an AM playing Open Masters for the 3 day. However, I am rating eligible to play Advanced Masters for this C tier 1-day event. If I sign up must I match to the division I am playing for the 3 day or can I drop down to Adv Master for this 1 day?

The three C-tiers are just awards to winners. The previous reply seemed to be talking about the main GBO tourney.

As long as you are an amateur you can play in any Advanced division. There are rating stipulations for playing Intermediate and Rec divisions. If you are a Pro, there are also rating requirements that must be met if playing Am divisions. Players can play different divisions in the C-tiers from the division they are signed up for the GBO if meeting the requirements.
