We will have time, last group. roughly 1130, 3 hr round at Lava, 230, hour lunch 330-630 finish 2nd round. sunset approx 720. With am masters, am gm rec intermediate playing early the adv and pro groups will be on the course and play in quicker. Lava is pretty wide open, plenty of lightt, i think we'll be good or I wouldnt consider it.

I'd hate to see late tee times for the 2nd round cause players to finish in the dark! Better to keep enrolment to prescribed numbers, IMO.

I have taken that into consideration. Sunst is 720 or so that w/e. Lava set up longer in the morning and shorter in the afternoon, groups playing in divisions etc will help to address that valid concern. I can set-up extra holes to accomodate but the land etc has not been maintained.

Shotgun start at Lava, tee times at Kelly would be my suggestion

players who signed up in a timely manner should not have to be inconvnienced by playres who didn't bother to sign up in time! There are caps and deadlines for a reason. I vote for shotgun starts at Lava!

I appreciate your vote however this has nothing to do with players and their signing up on time. It has to do with unmaintained areas at Lava /creek that are unplayable. You can say what you want but I will make the decision, put it out there and live with the outcome.

There are just too many interested parties to please everyone. So I believe you focus should be on the 100 players that signed up on time, not the 5 that didn't make it in! And if you don't want input from players, then don't post "if you have concerns, questions, or objections please let me know here, please"!

Kelly is set-up now as it will play, work on the tees will happening at Kelly this Tues Wed (Thursday if necessary). I scouted Lava on saturday and the designated basket mover at Lava will be moving them this week hopefully by tomorrow for the dubs they do there on Tues afternoon.

I would like to do that but it becomes a problem if many people called to ask the same thing. I think if you get on it on Friday you will be fine at the rate regs are coming in, it is still early for many folks who wait until the last minute. See ya soon!
