About this tournament

Following in the footsteps of the Trilogy Challenge, Veterans for Vets is designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!

The Veterans for Vets Triple Threat
3 Person Teams!
3 Rounds of 18 holes in one day!
3 Different round formats!
3 Best team names win a prize!
3 Trophies per division!

Round 1 - Singles format - Score points for your team based on how you place in the overall standing for your division.

Round 2 - Doubles format - 2 players from your team play as a traditional best shot doubles team and one player plays as the "Mulligan Man" with an extra throw on each hole. Teams get points based on how they place in the overall standing for their division.

Round 3 - True alternate shot team play. All 3 players take turns taking shots in the same order the entire round no matter what type of shot it is.

Division rules

Your team must play in the division that aligns with your best player.
Example:
2 Rec players, 1 Advanced player - You will sign up for Adv/Pro divisions.
1 Novice, 2 Advanced players - You will sign up for Adv/Pro as well.
2 Rec players, 1 Novice - You can sign up for Nov/Rec or Adv/Pro, your choice.

Mixed Divisions - must have at least one female player and one male player. The same rules apply as above regarding skill level.

Veterans Divisions - must have at least 2 Veterans on the team. As long as you have two vets, the skill level does not matter.

Team Members will be able to register independently.

We will have prizes for the 3 best team names voted on by the independent panel of official most real of real judges.
