About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a one-day, two-round, C-Tier tournament at beautiful, Whitmarsh Disc Golf Course in Burlington, WA. Come test your mettle along the banks of the Skagit River
There is an optional $5 Ace Pot available as well. If no player aces during the tournament the pot will be donated to Helping Hands Food Bank.
Pro Divisions will be playing for cash payouts and trophies
Amateur Divisions will be playing for Scrip at Dip's Discs and trophies
#ThrowKindness Open is created to be an annual event that will rotate throughout courses in Northwest Washington. The goals is to create a competitive sanctioned event while creating the opportunity to raise funds for a community agency in the area of the tournament. This is a way to give back to the community that has helped support disc golf by allowing a course in the area.
We have chosen a food bank this year as many people have been deeply effective by rising food prices, food scarcity and hunger.
#ThrowKindness is rooted in a core value for Dip's Discs that emphasizes the power of kindness to positively impact individuals, communities and the world.
To that end we are inviting our new and old friends in the disc golf community to join us in a day of fun competition while raising some money for an organization helping many people in Skagit County.
Dynamic Discs is sponsoring this even and there will be tournament stamped discs with amazing art by IEM Artwork in a variety of molds and plastic types for sale from Dynamic Discs, Latitude64 and Westside Discs. Dip's Discs will also be set up to meet all your disc golf and scrip needs. A portion of all the proceeds will be donated to Helping Hands food bank. Dip's Discs will match any donations on the registration form or in person of day of up to $500.
