About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is M.V.D.S.A.'s P.D.G.A. C-Tier Series Act 1 of 3. This is a 3 part series with series trophies awarded at the end for top three in all qualifying divisions. Act 2 July 20th, Act 3 November 1st.
This will be two rounds of 18 holes. The regular 12 with a twist or two and six not so easy field holes.
Ace pot will be $2.00 with a minimum ace pot of $100.00
PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
How to register? 1. 4discgolf.com should handle the online registration. Should be up in about a week. 2. Pay me in person. 3. Send check and info. 4. Tell me info and pay day of event. $2.00 day of fee applies. 5. Show up day of without preregistering. $5.00 paying day of and not being registered fee.
If you are not a current P.D.G.A. member there is a non current P.D.G.A. member fee off $10.00. All divisions will be offered. There will be plenty of discs and shirts and things for script redemption. For example. Entry into next event. Club Membership.
Point system will be a little different this year.
Event 1. You will get 1 point for showing up. You will get 1 point for everyone you score better than in your division. Winner gets 3 bonus points. 2nd gets 2. 3rd gets 1. If you get an ace you will get 1 bonus point.
Event 2: You will get 1 point for showing up. If this is your second event you will get 2 extra points for showing up. You will get 1 point for everyone you score better than in your division. Winner will get 3 extra bonus points. 2nd gets 2. 3rd gets 1. You get 2 extra points if this is your second event and you scored a top 3 in both events. An ace is worth 1 bonus point. 1 more point if you aced in both events.
Event 3: You will get 1 point for showing up. If this is your 3rd event you will get 4 bonus points. No extra points for second event. Show up bonus points are for people who played all events. You will get 1 point for everyone you score better than. Winner gets 5 bonus points. 2nd gets 4. 3rd gets 3. 4th gets 2. 5th gets 1. You get 3 points If this is your 3rd event and you placed in the top three 1 other time. You get 5 points if you placed in the top three the prior 2 events. An ace is worth 1 point. 2 extra points if aced on 2 events. 3 bonus points if aced in all 3 events.
As you can see showing up to all three events gets you the best chance at bonus points. An ace don't hurt either. Doing well we still be required. If there is a tie at the end of the series a playoff from hole 1 will decide it. If called for darkness a ctp on hole 3 will decide it.
