Do you like golf? Any kind of golf? If asked "Hey do you want to play some form of golf today?" do you ask what type or do you just say 'Absolutely'... or do you jump however high you jump?
What if the answer to what type of golf was "yes"? That's what we're doing for a record 3rd time!
The Ultimate Golf Championship brought to you by MVP Disc Sports and Breaking Aces Disc Golf Store is happening Sunday, September 24th at Pine Hills Golf Club.
Start your day with a silly mini-game followed by 18 holes of disc golf, eat lunch, another mini-game, play 9 of golf with clubs, then more games. You'll feel like Leroy Jetson in your golf cart lugging you around the course. You will think you are the reincarnation of Wilfred Brimley with your provided 3 course lunch (Hot Dog, Chips and a soda). You may confuse us with Oprah Winfrey as we dish out prizes throughout the day, sometimes for dumb reasons, great reasons, or no reason at all.
After reading that, you are probably thinking, a single day with disc golf, olden timey golf, hillbilly golf (hint), a provided cart, provided lunch, 2 MVP Black Hole Pro Baskets (at least), 2 Pod Disc Stands, over 50 discs, more bags than I can shake a stick at (bring sticks), Six 3 Disc Eclipse 2.0 Glow setups that double as lighthouse lamps, and more being given away... this must cost $1,000... $1,500?
No friend, this entire day of fun, food, prizes and maybe even some heroics is only $55 for everything! You may think I'm an imbecile, but I don't know what that word means and because you're so smart, if you sign up before midnight tonight (Aug 31st) I'll knock it down to $50.
There will be a small prize for the Male and Female champs as well as a trophy. If enough people sign up I may be able to get the runners up a nice pair of pleated khakis to shake up their look, but this event is about having a great time, even if you suck at one or more of the games. Bring the right attitude, and don't stress over the crap shots.
Hole Sponsorships are available for $50. There will be 3 special event holes with unique challenges available to sponsor as well for $100. All hole sponsors will be added to the event book and can have a sponsorship sign placed at that holes Tee which we will help design if needed. To sign up as a sponsor click the 'Register Online Now' button and select 'Sponsor a hole' as your division.
