About this tournament

Welcome to The Panhandle Open 9 Sponsored by MVP Disc Sports. This will be a PDGA sanctioned B Tier tournament for Amateurs and a C Tier for Pros. 2 rounds will be played on Saturday.

If we receive at least 10 players in the Pro pools, we will add $500 cash to be distributed proportionally across pro divisions equal to the % each division represents to the total pro pool.

We will not offer day of sign-ups.

$100 All Open Divisions
$80 All Adv and Amateur Divisions

Player's Pack will be robust and is coming in at around $111 in value! All amateur players will receive the following!

-1 Triple Foil MVP or Axiom Event Disc ($22)
-1 Triple Foil Streamline Event Disc ($16)
-1 Long Sleeve Flight Factory Jersey ($50)
-1 Event T-Shirt ($20)
-1 MVP Tri-LED Lights ($3)

We will have a HUGE raffle.

Trophies will be awarded in all divisions. (3 -4 players - 1st only, 5-9 players - 1st and 2nd only, 10 or more players - 1st, 2nd, 3rd).

Blackwater DGC - Pool B

Tournament Central and Awards will be at Gator Links. If you are starting at Blackwater, you DO NOT have to come by Gator Links before your round. You can pick up your players pack at lunch time or after round 2. All ties must return to Gator Links to sort out playoff holes and ensure all players can be present for tie breakers.

$250 Premier Sponsor(only 2 available) -
This includes 10 tee signs and logos added to all digital media. You will receive an event players pack for this sponsorship. You will have an opportunity to set up at the event to market or sell items(non discs). Your name or business listed in the Event Program(caddy book) and a mention at the Player's Meeting.

$100 Featured Sponsor - Your name or business will be featured on a hole on the course, including 5 tee signs. You will receive 1 event stamped disc. These will be strategically positioned to enhance your exposure. You will also be listed in the Event Program(caddy book), and a mention at the Player's Meeting.

$25 Program Sponsor - This will include a tee sign and Your name or business listed in the Event Program(caddy book) and a mention at the Player's Meeting.

There will a robust raffle at this event. Tickets available for purchase at the event and prior to the event.

Refund policy

Flight Factory is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Cancellations will be handled in accordance with PDGA policy. Players who officially request to withdraw from the event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee minus up to a $10 handling fee only if their spot in the tournament is filled by a player who is on the waitlist at the time of the withdrawal request. If the player’s spot is not filled, the TD has the choice to provide either a 50% monetary refund of their entry fee or just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). Refunds requested after 10/17 for amateur divisions will be subject to either a 25% cash refund, or, players may receive the player pack in lieu of a refund. This is only applicable if their spot is not filled by a waitlist. Any raffle tickets or ace pot money will be refunded in full.
