About this tournament
3 rounds of play
Welcome to the 2020 Professional Pittsburgh Flying Disc Open! The PFDO returns to the A-tier schedule in 2020 with three rounds over two days at the beautiful Moraine State Park Disc Golf Course, home of the 2015 Professional World Championships. Competitors will play two shotgun start rounds on Saturday with tee times for the final round on Sunday.
As a PDGA sanctioned A-Tier, all minimum tour standards shall be met. All players must therefore be PDGA members. We are offering four divisions for the event; MPO, FPO, MP40, and MP50. A minimum of 8 competitors are required for the MP40 and MP50 divisions.
Registration will open for all FPO, MP40, and MP50 divisions as well as MPO competitors with a rating above 1000 on March 18, 2020 at 8:00pm EST. MPO competitors with a rating above 970 will be able to register starting April 1, 2020 followed by open registration on April 15.
MPO and MP40 divisions will be playing from the gold (long) tee pads all three rounds while the FPO and MP50 divisions will play from the blue (middle) tee pads for the entirety of the event. The pins will remain in the same location for all three rounds and will be set a minimum of one week prior to the event.
Any comments or questions may be directed to the tournament staff. We can’t wait to see you in August!
