This is our annual ,1 disc, AR.GVL Team tournament at a private course in Travelers Rest! Leave your bags at home for this one, the only disc you can use for this tournament is the one provided for you at the tournament! Last year's disc was the Axiom Envy, this year is the MVP Nomad! Dinner is included in your player pack!
(Immediate family members, who aren't on the team, are welcome to purchase the players pack and play the course with the Nomad, but are ineligible for AR.GVL Team trophies. 1st place trophies will be awarded to divisions of 4+ members)

“ It’s time to sign up for the Team AR.GVL Nomad-Only Tournament! Here is the sign up link to the Disc Golf Scene. IMPORTANT: this is an invitation only tournament, so it will only let you sign up for the tournament under the email address that you provided to us at the beginning of the year in your team application, which is also the email address that you are receiving this email to right now. Also, you’ll notice that the tournament’s location is in Nokia, Finland. This is because DGS requires a registered disc golf course to host a tournament. Since the location of this tournament is at a private course, it will not populate in DGS.

Sign ups are live until EOD 10/3, so don’t delay!

Below is a breakdown of the whole tournament! Can’t wait to see everyone there!

Nomad Tournament Schedule:

-2:00pm - Check-in, receive players pack, and sign course waiver

-2:00-5:00 - Play course with flexible start (minimum 3/maximum 5 players per card & start on any hole). Please begin no later than 4pm in order to have time to complete the course! Score on UDisc. The layout will be updated soon and sent out!

-5:00-6pm - Team Photo and Dinner

-6:00pm - Awards Ceremony and closing announcements.

General info:

-Address: 100 Wild Orchard Road, Travelers Rest, SC

-Allow the parking attendant in the front lawn to help you park. (Parking map attached.) Please carpool if possible!

-You must ONLY use the Nomad provided in the player`s pack. Sharpies will be available to “customize” your own Nomad.

-Immediate family members are welcome and encouraged to come! Although ineligible for trophies, your family members are welcome to play the course with you or just walk along. They are also welcome to purchase a players pack which includes their disc, mini, AR.GVL voucher, and meal ticket. Additional meal tickets for adult family members and children are available as add-ons in Disc Golf Scene.

-1st place trophies are awarded to divisions of 4+ players

-Ace Pot: $25 AR Greenville shop credit to the thrower & $10 shop credit if someone catches it on film. (good quality, not Blair Witch style, lol!)

-On-site porta potty.

-Bring camping chairs/picnic blankets.
