About This Tournament
Spots are limited, secure your spot and be part of one of the most unique tournament weekends in Austin disc golf.
Texas Chain Rattlers presents a full weekend of competitive disc golf across two of Austin’s premier brewery courses.
The TCR Spring Classic is a two-round, two-day tee time event hosted by Texas Chain Rattlers.
Players will compete across two of Austin’s premier brewery-backed disc golf destinations:
Saturday – Live Oak Brewing Company (tee times)
Sunday – Sprinkle Valley Disc Golf Course (tee times)
This event showcases two unique styles of courses, providing a complete test of skill across the weekend.
Entry and Players Pack
Entry is $52:
-$10 will be used towards Greens Fees
-$40 will be used towards Payout, PDGA Fees, and Amateur Player Pack
-$2 will be sent to the Heart of Texas Tour for the Series Finale.
Amateur Player Pack will contain at least (1) Mint Disc & (1) Mint Discs Mini
Saturday – Live Oak DGC
Live Oak DGC is a course where your tee shots and putting game must be on point.
Set among mature live oak trees, the layout provides scoring opportunities but punishes poor execution. Most holes are decided off the tee and on the green, meaning players who can consistently hit their lines and convert putts will separate themselves from the field.
For the Spring Classic, we are adding additional OB to increase the difficulty, creating even more pressure on placement off the tee and confidence on the putting green.
Food will be available on site from The Black Forest food truck, along with the full brewery experience throughout the day.
Sunday – Sprinkle Valley DGC
Sprinkle Valley delivers a premier ranch-style disc golf experience. Expect scenic fairways, strategic landing zones, and a layout that demands both power and precision.
The course offers a balanced mix of open scoring holes and technical shot-shaping through mature trees. Players who can control distance and placement will separate themselves here. Smart decisions are rewarded, and careless mistakes are punished, perfect for a championship Sunday finish.
Food trucks and craft beverages will be available as we close out the weekend.
