Swap Shop Open
Episode 2: Attack of the Swap
You loved it last year and this year we're back and bigger than even.
The Swap Shop Open is happening October 5th down at sweet baby Griggs. This is a non-sanctioned, one day tournament that's open to players of all levels. The cost is $45 to enter.
Taking inspiration from used disc challenges that we've all seen on YouTube, you'll be building a bag with used discs the day of the event. After you check in for the tourney, you'll receive $40 credit to spend at our used disc section. You'll play that first round with the discs you've selected. For the first round, most baskets will be located in the short pin locations.
The second round players will get to use their normal bag of discs. But, Griggs will be a new type of monster. Mark Fedorenko created a one of a kind layout at Griggs as a safari/combo layout with 6 additional holes added. Expect the course to have more teeth than you've seen before. This is a Par 62 layout and the total distance is 7350 ft. We'll reassign cards & players will tackle the second round with their full bag.
This is a players pack & prize event only. $5 from the entry fees will cover the costs of trophies, park fees, and signs for safari layout.
