    9:00am - 10:00am

    We’ll be on site finishing setup and prep. Scoundrel will be on site for coffee and hot breakfast-style bacon sandwiches.

    10:00am - 10:20am

    Check-in and player pack pickup. Please use your UDisc app to check in on the morning, then collect your player pack from the HQ table. We’ll have black, silver, and gold Sharpies available if you want to ink your disc.

    10:20am - 10:35am

    Player briefing covering format, safety, scoring, key rules, and questions. If you have questions before Sunday, please ask them early so we can cover all bases. Email, Instagram, or Discord are easiest. Discord will usually get the fastest answer. https://discord.gg/3RsH3mxZCK

    10:35am - 10:45am

    All players check scorecards, then move to starting holes.

    10:45am - 12:30pm

    Round 1 shotgun start. Custom Pīwakawaka course layout, mixed cards.

    12:30pm - 2:00pm

    Lunch and skills block running at the same time.
    Skill Challenge 1 is Pīwakawaka Parkour (if we’re able to finalise the setup).
    Skill Challenge 2 is Stepping Stones.

    Scoundrel will be available for hot and cold drinks. Empire Chicken will be there for lunch. Our vendors were not paid to be there, so we’d really appreciate players supporting them while they support us.

    1:50pm - 2:00pm

    Head to holes for Round 2.

    2:00pm - 3:45pm

    Round 2 shotgun start. Custom Pīwakawaka course layout, divisional cards.

    3:45pm - 4:00pm

    Prizegiving and final photos.

Div2 Avg Score: -2 to E NZD25
Div3 Avg Score: +1 to +4 NZD25
Div4 Avg Score: +5 to +11 NZD25
Div5 Avg Score: +12 or worse NZD25

Kia Ora and welcome to the PIWAKAWAKA Challenge NZ 2026!

This one-day, PIWAKAWAKA-only event brings the community together through creativity, connection, and the joyful, floating flight of the peaceful PIWAKAWAKA. Hosted at Warren Park in Christchurch, the day will feature two modified playing rounds as well as the PIWAKAWAKA Perch Challenge, and the PIWAKAWAKA Stepping Stones Challenge.

There are PLAYER PACKS - selected DURING registration. These have:
A custom challenge stamped RPM Mini (also included with standard registration)
A custom challenge stamped Atomic Piwakawaka from RPM
Sponsor Goodies!

The event is non-profit and fully community-run with support from both local clubs as well as local businesses.
Scoundrel will be there from early - fueling everyone with hot and cold drinks!
Empire Chicken will be there from mid morning, setup in time for our lunch and there until early afternoon!
