About this tournament

Perfect event for ‘kids' of all ages and experience levels!
There is an optional clinic at 9:15 with a CT PRO for players of all levels.
We encourage newer and casual players to make THIS their FIRST organized event.
Most divisions will be playing 18 holes (two rounds of 9) but for Juniors, Masters and newer players, that is negotiable.
Roc Launch is a fund-raiser with proceeds to be divided between Mental Health CT and CT Foodshare.
It is a build-your-own card or make great new friends event that will be taking place at Columbia Rec Park at 10am on Sunday January 11th.
Every player will receive an INNOVA Roc3 or Roc and Rocs will be the only things being launched. You may use any Roc or Roc3.
If you have already embraced Rocs, you may bring your own and play with those as well. We will have minis for all players new to Disc Golf Zen.
This is NOT a sanctioned event, but play will follow PDGA rules, so a Mini must be used to mark your lie, and you must put a disc in or on tiop of the basket to successfully complete a hole. Mark your lie with any mini you wish.
Award system:
First place in every populated division.
First and Second places in all divisions with 4 or more people.
First, Second and Third places in all divisions with 5 or more people.
All scoring for this tournament will be on UDisc Events.

Extras:
Raffle: $5 for 5 tickets during online-registration or check-in day-of. No limit.
Ace Pot: $5 during online-registration or check-in on day-of.
At the end of play, the money will be divided by the total aces in the 18 holes played! If no aces during 18, the money will be donated to the organizations mentioned above.
