This is an unsanctioned, low-cost, no-frills poker round. Score doesn't matter only birdies and aces; eagles don't apply because every hole is par 3. Course rules and OB's are in play for the round.
Players will get a paper score card to record Birds and Aces. If you get a birdie, you will mark a "B" for that hole, if you are the ONLY birdie for that hole, you will need to circle that "B". Same thing applies to Aces. At the end of the round, I will deal you playing cards based on the Pars, Birdies and Aces you got.
Players will get 1 card for each birdie and if it's the ONLY birdie for that hole that player will get an extra card, Aces will give 2 cards and if it's the ONLY ace for that hole that player will get an extra card. UPDATE- Players will get a HALF card for every Par.
The object is to build the best 5 card hand you can, you must beat your card to qualify for the payout. Payout is "winner takes all" and no ace payout. Entry is Just $5, and every dollar goes to payout so the more players that sign up the bigger the payout. All players will get a FREE BEER for entering courtesy of Live Oak Brewery. I prefer that everyone signs up online, so I can inform the brewery how many free beers to give and depending on the number of signups, walk ups may be allowed. Green fee will be added at check out ($5).

Republic Of Texas Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Cancellations MUST be done via email at [email redacted] by February 20th,2026 if you really want your $5 back, otherwise it will be donated to the payout.
