About this tournament

The Circuit Challenge is back! Be the first to get your hands on three discs from the MVP family of brands, before their general release to the public, by playing in a Circuit Challenge.

We're coming back to Lake Ridge, but this year we'll be playing two loops of a 'best of' layout, using some short and some long pins. As in the past, your player's pack includes your three Circuit Challenge discs, and you'll play the round using ONLY those three discs.

Streamline Fission Trace: 11 | 5 | -1 | 2
MVP Particle Glow Proton Uplink: 5 | 5 | -3 | 0.5
MVP Electron Watt: 2 | 5 | -0.5 | 0.5

See below for details on which division you should sign up for. If you've played our monthly tag matches; this will all sound familiar:

GOLD (Rated 935+): You're in that top-tier of club members and/or routinely playing MA1 or Pro at PDGA events. You're willing to toss in an extra $5 on that entry fee because you know you're getting it back. You're taking home a single- or double-digit tag because that's what's up. Bring it.

SILVER (Rated 880-934): Consistently competitive in Silver or
finished towards the top of Bronze last year. When it comes to PDGA events you're playing MA2 or are frequently in contention in MA3. Thorns are overrated so you keep it in the fairways. Makes it a lot easier to land that next shot in C1 and nail that putt you're pretty confident in.

BRONZE (Rated 825-879): You've been playing Bronze for a year or two and you're nowhere near the bottom of the pack. You're playing consistently well in MA3 or at the top of MA4 in PDGA events. You aren't afraid to go big, but sometimes it means you go home.

STEEL (Rated up to 824): New to the game? New to tournaments? You're playing MA4 in PDGA events and may not be totally comfortable with the rules. You're capable of great shots, but are still developing consistency. Come on out, throw down, have fun with us and work on bumping up that tag number.

EMERALD (Gender Protected, Rated 750+): Women can play in any division they qualify for, but this division is one of two just for the ladies, and specifically for the upper-level competitors playing in FPO, FA1, or frequently in contention in FA2.

AMETHYST (Gender Protected, Rated up to 749): This is a division created in 2022, a second women's-only division created for those competitors just starting to compete in FA2 or regularly competing in FA3 or FA4.

PLATINUM and JUNIORS: There are no age limits on any of the above divisions but Platinum is available for our 60+ members and Juniors is available for <18.
