This will be an all day affair . . . with the flexibility of you being able to play as many rounds as you want during the day to try to better your scores. There will be the normal divisions I use during leagues (Open, Advanced, Intermediate, Recreational, Women, Juniors (<15). . . and an additional division for people who have never played organized disc golf . . . I am hoping a casual event like this will turn them into avid organized league or tournament players. The first round will be $10 entry into the tournament (with $1 going to the ace pool, $1 going to the course funds for improvements). Any subsequent round will be an additional $3 . . . so you will have to decide if you are happy with your round or if you think you can move up throughout the day . . . keep in mind there may be people lurking to see what the top scores are before deciding if they want to play or how many rounds they might play. There will be vouchers paid out for all rounds played, but only $1 of each subsequent round will go towards the round payouts . . . and $2 from each subsequent round goes to the overall Main Event payouts! There is no optional Ace Pool here, you are automatically entered. . . trust me it's Valley View . . . you want to be in the ace pool. Ace pool will be paid out in cash and $1 per initial entry will go into the Ace Pool . . . all aces will split the pot regardless of what round they occurred in. If no one hits an ace (highly unlikely). . . the money will be donated to my Disc Golf Course Development Fund . . . which will assist in the addition of more disc golf courses in our area. There will be a tote-board with all of the current high scores per division so you can always check to see how you are doing throughout the day. Rounds can begin as early as 9:00 AM . . . and may begin as late as 6:00 PM but those times ARE FIRM . . . don't be early or late because they will not count in this tournament.
