Welcome to the Grand Opening event at Cork Pine DGC, Vassar’s new Disc Golf Course.
Not only can you enjoy this newly installed course, you get to enjoy a custom 24 hole shorts layout, only available for the Glitch Championships/Grand Opening!
In collaboration with Above Par Disc Golf Club and MVP Disc Sports, we’d like to invite you to play in our Flex-Start MVP Glitch Series Tournament. Tee any time between 3pm - 7:30pm.
Cost to enter is $45 and includes the following:
•1 round on the custom 24 hole shorts.
•Players pack: 2 MVP Discs - MVP Glitch and Axiom Pitch
•Various local Vassar restaurant discount coupons which include Cottage Inn and IVY Pizza, and MVP/Axiom Wristbands.
•Free entry into CTP’s featuring MVP discs as prizes on every single hole, plus other sponsored giveaways such as gift cards and gift baskets!
•Free entry into Door Prizes that include various MVP items such as basket giveaway, a disc golf disc shelf, and more.
Other additional options:
•MVP discs including the Streamline Parachute available for purchase at the event table until supplies last.
•Ace Pool available. (If no Ace is hit, money will go towards tee pad fund)
•One 50/50 Cash Payout CTP.
Payouts:
Cash for every division via PayPal. Additionally, we have received an anonymous donation from a Vassar Community member that will add $900 in cash to the payout pool. Finally, Glitch World Champ entries will be given out to the FPO and MPO division Winners.
This event is also a Glitch World Championship Qualifier. Because of that, players are limited to using ONLY the following discs while playing their round: MVP Glitch, Axiom Pitch, and Streamline Parachute. (Glitch & Pitch come in the players pack, but you may still use your own Glitch, Pitch, and Parachute Discs).
