The Edmonton Open aims to create an environment of competition and connection.
One of our main goals is to create an atmosphere where players and fans can relax at Tournament Central and stay at the course before, between, and after rounds.
We are hosting a Tournament Kickoff on Friday night with food, beer gardens, music, player pack pickup, corn hole, free kids events and more. Stop by and have some food and drink, play a round, or both!
Tournament Central will feature:
- Acumen Performance: supporting players with injury prevention and recovery, preparation strategies, and mobility training.
- Practice area: basket and throwing net to get ready for your round
- Analog Brewing: Gander branded beer gardens
- Meals, snacks, and drinks
- Seating: relax and enjoy the atmosphere!
- Magnecooz: vendor with unique beverage containers ‘that stick.’
- Gander Disc Golf: selling discs, gear, and apparel; including Hanemayer and Heimburg signature discs.
- Corn hole: custom Gander corn hole for between your rounds
- Raffle: don’t miss your chance to win a Prodigy T3 Professional Target, basket, signed discs, swag, and more in the weekend raffle.
The Edmonton Open is the first stop on the Gander Tour Series. It will be hosted at a beautiful and challenging new course just outside Edmonton: Bailey's Crossing Disc Golf Course. If you haven't played here yet, don’t miss out. Bailey’s is currently at a 4.7 UDisc rating and has it all!
Players can look forward to a technically challenging course and a new level of media and exposure.
Bailey’s Crossing will be open to all tournament players on August 4 and 5. If you want to get a practice round in earlier than that, don’t hesitate to reach out!
The lead card will go live on Instagram during the final round of the event!
Amateur player packs will be more than 100% value, including a one of a kind disc and other goodies.
See you there!
