Player Notes

Friday Practice Round
The course will be open for play on Friday February 18th. Please check in with a staff member at the Eastern Disc Golf tent. We will be taking donations that will be given to Relay for Life. While there is no school this day it is a teacher workday so school staff will be on site. Please be cautious of cars and people walking. That evening an event is happening at the school so not all holes will be available the entire time.

Parking
Player parking lot is located next to the multipurpose field on the backside of the high school. Please review the attached map for parking location. Parking will be located here both Friday and Saturday.

Check In and Schedule
Check in will be located behind the teepad for hole 12. Check in will start at 7:30am and all players must check in by 8:30am. Round 1 will start at approximately 9am and there will be an hour lunch break after the final round 1 card is turned in. Awards to follow the second round.

Tee Pads
Holes 1, 8, 13, and 15 all have two teepads. The following divisions will play the long teepads on this hole for both rounds: MA1, MA40, MA50, MA2. All other divisions will play the short teepads for both rounds.

Live Scoring
We will be using PDGA live scoring for this event. Two people per card may take score at pdga.com/scores

Safety
DO NOT CLIMB ANY FENCE. Most fences will be unlocked for you to retrieve discs. If your disc lands on a roof or inside a locked area please let tournament staff know so we can get your information. Property line fence on hole 15 has a hole in the fence 2/3rds way up the fairway to retrieve discs. If unable to get your disc quickly and easily please let staff know. Most roads will be blocked off but please watch for vehicles and give them the right of way when necessary.

Campus Guidelines
With Garner High being in the Wake County Public School District there is absolutely no alcohol or tobacco allowed on school property. Usage of either are grounds for disqualification from the tournament.

Amenities
There will be multiple spots on site where restrooms and water will be available on Saturday. Restrooms and water will be available near hole 4. A water table will be near hole 12s teepad. The field house near 12 and 18 will be open for restrooms. The multi purpose field will be open and available for warm ups.

General OB Notes
Parking lots are OB, OB line is defined by the line between the grass and the curb. Leaning on the curb and not over any defined grass line is OB. If there is ever a question about the rules of play or an OB call, play a provisional and discuss with tournament staff post round.

Hole 1 Long
The entrance road, parking lot, and curb are OB. Sidewalk and beyond is OB. The parking lot patches of grass and mulch are OB. Shots never crossing in bounds may proceed to the short tee as a drop zone with penalty.
Hole 1 Short
The entrance road, parking lot, and curb are OB. Sidewalk and beyond is OB.
Hole 2
Fence and brick wall and beyond on the right is OB. On top of the school building is OB. Do not retrieve discs in this area, report them to tournament central. Road and beyond are OB. Surrounded by concrete on the path/sidewalk is OB.

Hole 3
Parking lot is OB. Road and beyond is OB.
Hole 4
Triple mandatory between marked poles and roof of breezeway. If your disc misses the mandatory proceed to drop zone with penalty. Road is OB. Sidewalks are OB. School entrance patio is OB.
Hole 5
Parking lot is OB. Sidewalks and beyond are OB.
Hole 6
Parking lot is OB. Roads are OB. Sidewalks are OB.
Hole 7
Road and beyond right is OB. Sidewalk left and behind the basket are OB.
Hole 8 Long
Road and beyond right is OB. Parking lot and grass/mulch strip is IN BOUNDS. Standing water is possible on this hole and is casual.
Hole 8 Short
Road and beyond right is OB. Parking lot and grass/mulch strip is IN BOUNDS. Standing water is possible on this hole and is casual.
Hole 9
Inside the football field fence is OB. Top of the greenhouse is OB. Raised planters are casual areas. Sidewalk is in bounds.
Hole 10
All concrete and asphalt play as hazard on this hole only. If you are surrounded by concrete or asphalt after your drive, play from that spot with a stroke penalty.
Hole 11
The school roof is OB. Tennis court is OB as defined by the fence line. Parking lot and sidewalk is OB. Roadway is IN BOUNDS.
Hole 12
Road and parking lot is OB. Sidewalk is IN BOUNDS.
Hole 13 Long
Softball field is OB as defined by fence lines. Roads are OB. Sidewalk is IN BOUNDS. Batting cage is OB as defined by posts.
Hole 13 Short
Softball field is OB as defined by fence lines. Roads are OB. Sidewalk is IN BOUNDS. Batting cage is OB as defined by posts.
Hole 14
Baseball field is OB as defined by the fence. Top of the dugout and bleachers are OB.
Hole 15 Long
Baseball field is OB as defined by the fence. Beyond the property line fence on the right is OB.
Hole 15 Short
Baseball field is OB as defined by the fence. Beyond the property line fence on the right is OB.
Hole 16
Road and sidewalks are OB. Baseball field is OB as defined by fence. Batting cage is OB as defined by posts.
Hole 17
Road and sidewalks are OB. Softball field is OB as defined by fence. Football field and parking lot is OB as defined by the fence behind the basket.
Hole 18
Road, parking lot, and sidewalks are OB. Tennis, volleyball, and football fieldhouse areas are OB as defined by respective fencelines.
