Giles has no Out Of Bounds! Announcing a tournament (some of us) have been waiting for. Disc Golfers without Boundaries! We will be playing the Giles Meadow Course with NO mandatory out of bounds (within reason). In other words, no flag or painted lines. Only OB will be the obvious road boundaries or exceptionally hazardous lies. (the players choice)
This is a benefit tournament to help support The Shelter House and all proceeds will be given to the Shelter House. They do tremendous work helping protect & assist people in often dire circumstances with nowhere else to go and giving them a safe place to land. Very often these are people escaping from abusive situations, they are helping them get back on their feet and regain their independence.
This tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, September 1st. We will be playing 19 holes - long tees to long pins except for 16, we will play 16a Plus 16b long to long.
Shelter House also needs donations of personal health products (toothbrushes, floss, soaps, mouthwash), cleaning supplies as well as "like new" towels and washcloths. If you wish to contribute any of these items, please bring them to the tournament and we will make sure they get to the Shelter House!

PLEASE NOTE The General division is for those who are intending to play in the tournament. If there's enough demand, we will open another shotgun start later in the day. 100% of the entry fee goes to Shelter House!

The D10, D20 and D35 divisions are donation-only. If you'd like to support Shelter House but are not able to make it to the event, we will be glad to accept your donation.
