About this tournament
3 rounds of play
Welcome to the 5th Annual Disc Golf NL Provincial Championships, and the final stop of the 2026 DGNL Tour. The Provincial Championships will be hosted in Gander this year at the newly installed 18 hole course, located on the Airport Nordic Ski-trails. The course is a wooded technical layout with both short (Red) and long (Blue) tees.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a PDGA-sanctioned C-tier tournament. All non-PDGA members must pay a $15 temporary membership fee at registration (juniors are exempt).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All divisions will play three rounds over two days, with scheduled tee times on Saturday morning and afternoon and Sunday morning. Tee times will be posted on PDGA soon after registration closes. If you miss registration and would like to play, please just reach out. We will likely be able to squeeze you in.
There is an optional Ace Pot available during registration.
Pre-round Practicing
Players may practice in the area designated by the Tournament Director(s), until the starter indicates the two-minute signal for their group.
There is a putting basket located just behind the chalet, also in the wooded area in front of the chalet and a throwing net will be available for use. Practicing on the course layout during tournament hours is prohibited.
The tournament layout will be available for practice during the week before Saturday.
Also an optional Lunch add-on for those wishing to have a lunch provided on site, to be prepared by the locally owned, Rosie's Restaurant.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The amateur player pack will exceed 100% of the net registration fees (excluding any add-on options, ei. lunch or ace pot) and will include a disc stamped with the tournament logo (this years stamp designed by GDG member Zach Masters) and other items. There will be trophies for top finishers. Pros play for cash and trophies.
There are hats and jerseys available to order in from our local printing shop PJs.
