We are excited to host the second year of the Disc Golf NL Tour, a series of C-tier PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournaments held in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2026.
There will be three main events and the DGNL Provincial Championships:
1. Stephenville - Whaleback DiscGolfPark - May 23/24
2. Best Coast Open - Corner Brook - Corner Brook Disc Golf Course - July 3/4
3. The Rip on the Rock - St. John’s - McNiven DiscGolfPark - August 15/16
4. Disc Golf NL Provincial Championships - Gander - Gander Nordic Disc Golf Course - September 26/27
You can play as few or as many events as you’d like, and you will register for each event individually on DiscGolfScene.com. You do not need to be a member of DGNL or the PDGA to attend an event.
Point structure: 5 points for registering and completing an event + 1 point for every person that you do better than or tie (e.g., finish 2nd in a 7-person division, add +5 points; finish tied for 3rd in a 5 person division, add +2 points) + Bonus points for podium finishes (+5 points for first place (ties broken following event tie breaking rules) + 3 points for second and + 1 point for third; ties for second will all receive +3 points and no points after; ties for third will all receive +1 point).
Total score will include a player's best two event plus Provincials. There is a 1.5X total point multiplier for Provincials.
Points are awarded within each division and cannot be carried over to another division. For first place in each division, the first tiebreaker will be finishing place at Provincials, then average finish at all events, then a CTP competition at Provincials.
The following divisions will be offered at all events and are eligible to collect points: MPO/FPO, MA1/FA1, MA40/FA40, MA50/FA50, MA2/FA2. The following divisions will be offered at all events but will not collect points: MA3/FA3, MJ18/FJ18, MJ15/FJ15. Individual tournaments may offer additional divisions. The organizers reserve the right to award overall season trophies only to divisions with at least one player that plays at least two events.
A series fee of $3 per player will be included in the registration for each event, which will go toward a series player pack item and/or prizes. Top three in each division will receive a prize.
