What Is Winter Wonderland All About?
The Winter Wonderland Amateur Showcase will feature courses with some of the most unique topography in the Sunshine State. This event is designed to highlight a collection of courses north of Tampa that take advantage of the "Brooksville Ridge" and all the beauty and scenery the area has to offer. In the future, 3 additional courses will be added to the mix as the event continues to grow and expand with a goal to reach 360+ players.

What is DG1?
DG1 is a united collaboration of three Disc Golf promoters with 50+ combined years of experience coming together to host large scale events. Disc Golf 1 is Tim Barr (Premier Design DG) from Tennessee, Chuck Connelly (Spike Hyzer) from North Carolina and Mike Barnett (Sun King) from Florida. Stay tuned for more info on future DG1 events!

DG1 Trophy Structure:

DG1 is an Amateur oriented disc golf organizational entity that promotes trophy only events.
Our trophy payout structure is based on attendance while keeping a realistic value on depth paid versus players in attendance. We do stop paying trophies at the depth of 5 no matter how deep the field with the realization that people just don’t want a friggin umpteenth place trophy.
