About this tournament
The Circuit Challenge is back! Be the first to get your hands on three discs from the MVP family of brands before their general release to the public by playing in a Circuit Challenge.
We will be playing at the newly installed Upward Elementary Course. All proceeds raised at this event will go to installing more baskets at more schools. Our goal is to have a course at every school in Henderson County that the space for it. We also hope to move into Spartanburg County at some point.
If we can get approval, we will also install tee pads at Upward Elementary. This event has helped me to get a course in at East High and now Upward. Lets keep growing the sport!
LAYOUT INFO:
Hole 1: Mando Right of light pole. Road and beyond OB. Fenced in playground OB
Hole 2: Road and right is OB
Hole 3: Parking lot left is OB. Walking path and beyond right is OB
Hole 4: Island hole. If disc does not come to rest in the island, retee or proceed to drop zone. Normal OB rules apply after DZ shot
Hole 5: ASPHALT Road and beyond is OB
Hole 6: Road and right is OB. If drive never crosses in bounds, retee until disc crosses inboundsB.
Hole 7: Road and left is OB
Hole 8: Road and left is OB. Track and inside of track is OB. If drive never crosses in bounds, retee until disc crosses inbounds
Hole 9: Track and inside is OB. Walking path and left of path is a hazard. If disc lands in hazard, play from lie with a one stroke penalty.
Hole 10: Double mando. If mando is missed, throw from the drop zone with one stroke penalty. Track and inside is OB. Road and beyond is OB.
Hole 11: Road and left is OB.
Hole 12: Road left and long is OB. Right of cedar tree trunks is OB.
Hole 13: Outside of rocks on the right is OB. Mando right of tree. If mando is missed, retee with stroke penalty.
Hole 14: Pond is OB. Right of fence is OB
Hole 15: Right of fence is OB
Hole 16: ----------
Hole 17: Parking lot is OB.
Hole 18: Parking lot and road and beyond is OB.
If you have not played Upward Elementary before, you are in for a treat. Tee areas will be marked by flags or paint, as there are no "PADS." Tee on hole 18 is having to be moved due to construction, so, if you play it before hand, the tee sign is a little incorrect.
