About this tournament
1 round of play
The 2026 Glitch World Championship Qualifier (GWCQ) series is here! Players from around the world will compete for the opportunity to qualify for the Glitch World Championship this fall at the fabled Maple Hill. Players will need to flex their one-speed game to win their qualifier to have a chance to become champion, but second place doesn't come home empty handed either. The player pack for this years GWCQ series features the Particle Proton Soft Glitch and the Neutron Soft Parachute - two amazing discs with a custom GWCQ stamp to commemorate your chance at greatness! As always, players are free to use any one-speed discs from MVP/Axiom/Streamline during competition.
Every GWCQ MPO and FPO division winner will earn free entry into the 2026 Glitch World Championship to take place at the legendary Maple Hill Disc Golf Course in Massachusetts on Sept. 11th & 12th. The only way to play in the Glitch World Championships for a chance at the fabled Golden Glitch trophy is to be a previous GWC Champion or by qualifying through your local GWCQ.
Now YOU have the opportunity to compete against the best Glitch throwers on the planet, on the best course in the galaxy, for a chance to be crowned the best in the world!
Do you have what it takes to hoist the Golden Glitch?
UPDATES
19th of May
The discs have arrived!
Usually I get people have weight and colour requests but I have found that the weights have been pretty set for these releases in the past.
Ahead of time, I can share that we have the follwiing:
- Glitches: these are in a variety of colours and cary between 145g and 149g.
- Parachutes: these a touch heavier and are in a variety of colours. They range from 150g to 153g.
- anyone who has ordered a Softball Pitch: these are all the softball yellow and 149g in weight.
Just to clarify again:
You can use the players pack and also bring and throw any Glitch, Pitch, or Parachute of your choice. Any other mold is disqualified!
I have set up a private UDisc QR code for scoring. Come see at pack pick up to scan when you are putting your cards of 3-4 together for your round.
I will also send this out a few days before the round in case no one is checking here.
See you all Sunday!

As of today, the event is full! Thank you to everyone who signed up. There is a wait-list I have set up in case anyone pulls out. The wait-list will be refunded following the end of the event. Please be advised that I do not have any extra packs outside of the order of 36. I should be receiving the order in the coming few days and will post an update ahead of the event.
24th of April
There has been such a surge in recent registrations that I have extended the registration to 36! We are just within the ordering deadline and managed to up the number of regular packs and the special Softball Pitches too.

First of all, I want to give a heartfelt thanks to George and the team at Norseman for sponsoring this tournament. We all appreciate their support of local disc golf and this was no exception.
Second, I understand this tournament has a very quick turnaround time, so in the interest of ensuring that I haven't overordered packs through Disc Republic, I cautiously brought the numbers down from 35 to 24. Apologies if we get to sell out and we have a waitlist, these things are difficult to predict and can only have accurate numbers if people sign up early. Registration numbers are a touch slower than I expected and I want to ensure I am not swimming in extra plastic at the end of it. Thanks to everyone who has already signed up!
