About this tournament

2 rounds of play
Disconsin's 5th annual Battle in the Bog tournament at Half-Moon Lagoon Disc Golf Course will be a 2 day event for the first time in 2021. MPO, FPO, MA1, FA1, MA40, FA40, MA50, FA50, MA2, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4, & FA4 will be competing on Saturday. Divisions on Saturday with less than 3 competitors as of October 6th may be eliminated at the discretion of the tournament staff. Players in those divisions will be offered the choice of moving to another eligible division or withdrawing if that decision is made.

Please note that $5 from every Saturday player's entry will go into a Saturday-only ace pool and $2 will go to the PDGA. There will be a 100% payout of net entry fees (minus ace pool and PDGA fees) in every division.The Lagoon is a relatively short, moderately wooded, technical course. A shorter course means a lot of ace runs. Disconsin's is pleased to be offering the same $1,000 Ace Pool that has been part of what made this event so exciting in the past. Each division will play 2 rounds. MPO and MA1 will be on the long layouts. All other Saturday divisions will play the Main Tees Layout. Players will have the option on Hole 16 to take a penalty store and not throw over the Lagoon if they prefer.

Each competitor will also be eligible to participate in the drawings and mini-games (Putting challenges, long drive competition, disc golf cornhole, mini disc golf course, etc) that will be run throughout the day on Sunday with a chance to win some fun prizes. In addition to being the day for our Junior and Senior division rounds, Sunday will serve as a bit of a player's party atmosphere for players from both days.

If you're local and are a Disconsin Club member or would like to become one and are interested in adopting two to three holes to maintain between now and November (with our provided equipment) let us know! We are giving early, FREE registration to a limited number of players who are interested in supporting Half-Moon Lagoon course this way.

Players on the wait list who don't get bumped to active player status will be refunded on the day of. Players on the wait-list will be promoted to active player status in order of registration until the morning of at which time wait-listed players who are present at the course will be given preference in filling any empty slots resulting from last-minute drops.
