This is an event to raise money for a memorial at Rolling Pines for a friend of disc golf gone too soon.

Martiñ cared for the course with quiet dedication — cutting weeds, removing limbs, and repairing anything that needed attention. A member of the club since around 2020, he was always working to make the place better for everyone. Martiñ lived with cardiomyopathy and had an implanted defibrillator since age 13; he had been on the heart-transplant list because of complications from his condition. On October 29, 2024, while fine-tuning his glow bag on the glow layout — doing what he loved — his heart went out of rhythm. Despite his defibrillator’s efforts, his heart could not be restored. We remember him for his kindness, hard work, and the care he gave to this course.

It is the goal of this event to gather funds for two memorials to be added to the course in the form of a plaque on hole 5 and personalized statue on hole 3. Join in two rounds of community and solidarity for someone who poured their heart into Rolling Pines.

Round 2 will be an hour after last card is finished to allow for lunch
Awards Ceremony and Raffle after at the Gazebo.

Raffle tickets will be sold before and after the round. With some individual prizes valued over $150.

Ace Pool Pay on Site
$2 per player
If no ace is hit we will have a throw off.

Players upon registration receive one mulligan however additional mulligans can be purchased.

This memorial is long overdue, so let’s come out and raise enough money to make it great!
