About this tournament
2 rounds of play
The 4th Annual Emporia Ladies Open is a ladies-only event in Emporia, KS! The event is a two-day tournament. Two rounds of 18 holes at Peter Pan Park (one round on Saturday, Oct 1, and one on Sunday, Oct 2). The course will be set to be fun yet challenging for all divisions.
Tee times will start at 8 AM and players will tee off every 10 minutes on day 1. On day 2, players will do a shotgun start at 8 AM. The player cap is 124. Player Packs for all divisions. Optional Ace Pot for $5. The money will go toward the 2023 ace pot if there is no ace during the tournament. The 2022 Ace Pot is at $600. CTP prizes will be awarded this year on day 1! Win your card prizes will be awarded on both days!
Tee time start time will depend on registration numbers. The tee time start could be later than 8 AM but not earlier.
Must be a current member of the PDGA to participate in a B-Tier. (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/101).
This event is the finale of the Heartland Women's Series. The Heartland Series will be awarding the top players and their royalty during the event.
CHECK-IN
Early check-in is from 10 AM to 4 PM on Friday, September 30 at Peter Pan Park. Come find us near hole one at the DD RV! Late check-in is the day of the event (Saturday, October 2nd). Please check in an hour before your tee time. Let us know if you have any questions about this!
CADDY PACKS
Caddy packs are available for purchase and will include a special design caddy shirt, event disc, and a bonus item for $40. We will not be providing caddies, but we can help yours look awesome while supporting the event.

We can not guarantee player pack or caddy shirt SIZE availability for registrations after Tuesday, September 7th.
SCORING
We will be utilizing the PDGA Digital Scorecard. Players, caddies, or volunteers can record hole scores in real-time at pdga.com/score. Paper scorecards will still be available to those wanting to keep paper, but we will use digital scoring for final scores. The ACCESS CODE is ELO, and it is not case-sensitive.
BYOP WOMEN'S & MIXED DOUBLES
On Friday, September 30, we hope you will join us for BYOP (bring your own partner) Women’s and Mixed Doubles. This will be a flex start from 10 AM to 4 PM. It will be a great time to practice the course! Format coming soon. Payout will be awarded to winners, no trophy.

PLAYER PARTY
On Saturday, October 1st, we will host a player's party at The Station (402 Merchant St, Emporia, KS 66801) from 6-8 pm. We will provide food (pasta, salad, pizza, and dips) from Radius Brewing Company, and a bar will be on the premises if you wish to purchase beverages. We will have a putting competition and a general good time!
TROPHIES & PAYOUT
We will follow PDGA standards for payout. Am payout will be to the Dynamic Discs Retail Store (912 Commercial St) or dynamicdiscs.com. Pros will be paid out via PayPal.
Recreation and Junior Divisions are trophies only.
SPONSORSHIP
We offer hole sponsorship, allowing you to have a sign with your business name or logo near the tee pad for one of the 18 holes. Hole Sponsorship is $40. Interested? Refund policy
Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to [email redacted].
Cancellations more than 7 days in advance from the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee.
Participants canceling under seven days from the tournament date will receive their refund in merchandise equal to the entry fee minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee.
If the participant fails to contact us properly to cancel their spot before the event start, they will forfeit their entry fee for the event. We will give no player’s packages to non-competitors instead of entry fees or store credit. While this policy will be in effect for the 2022 season, it may change for specific events.
