About this tournament

The 2025 Kooky Noosa Challenge - Supported By Innova is a PDGA sanctioned C-Tier event held at the Libby Dam. This is a two day event being held on August 9 & 10, and is a part of the Montana Point Series.

Lunch will not be provided over the weekend, so be sure to bring your own food and snacks! There is also no cell service on the course - prepare accordingly. There is a Verizon wireless cellphone booster at the visitors center along with public WiFi (password required). The town of Libby is 17 miles away, heading south on Highway 37.

Camping will be similar to last year. There will be first come first serve camping available at Dunn Creek Campground. Please try to use designated camping areas if possible and don’t drive in the field. There are alternate public camping areas along the river/reservoir including Blackwell Flats and Alexander Creek. There is an alternative option for folks that can’t find camp sites in the public campgrounds at the Riverbend Bar & Restaurant for $10 per night. If you are planning on getting a hotel I’d book that as soon as possible. There is a riverfront blues festival in town the same weekend so I expect those rooms to fill very quickly!
