About this tournament
2 rounds of play
It's time for one of Emporia's favorite events! The Monkey Island Open is two rounds of 20 holes at Peter Pan Park.
MIO is a regional qualifier for the Dynamic Discs Open, which means we will give away two MPO and one FPO spot to the Dynamic Discs Open!
Qualifying at MIO only means the player has a spot at DDO. Winning players must pay the DDO registration fee to participate. The winning players must be MPO and FPO competing in the Mixed and Women's Pro Open divisions.
Advanced, Rec, and Junior Divisions only on Saturday - http://dgscene.com/MIO2023-AdvRecJrs
Pro divisions and Intermediate divisions will play on Sunday - http://dgscene.com/MIO2023-IntPro
Must be a current member of the PDGA to participate in a B-Tier. (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/101).
CHECK-IN
Please check in between 8:00 and 8:30 AM on Sunday, March 26. Tournament Central will be located near the tee pad for Hole 1. Please find us at the Dynamic Discs RV!
There will be a brief player meeting at 8:45 AM. Please report to your assigned hole at 8:58 AM. We will have a shotgun start at 9 AM.
SCORING
We are using the PDGA digital scoring platform for scoring. One player from each group will need to use their smartphone to take a score. A paper scorecard can be a backup to the PDGA digital scoring platform (paper cards will be available at tournament central). All players on the card must confirm before submitting the score through the digital scoring platform. Each player must enter their PDGA number or name at the end of the round into the scoring application.
The ACCESS CODE for the event scoring is BANANA. It is not case-sensitive. To start your round with digital scoring, you must go to the link: www.pdga.com/score.

We will follow PDGA standards for payout. Am payout will be to the Dynamic Discs Retail Store (912 Commercial St) or dynamicdiscs.com. Pros will be paid out via PayPal.
