Rick pick up a collegian today...the league got some mass appeal!

Maki Kawakami    October 14, 2011 at 9:58am

Yes, I have been carrying a lightsaber, but I never used it.

Rick Petrie    October 13, 2011 at 6:25am

Kevin, you betcha I'll wear it to league... but not until winter because it is uncomfortable and down right HOT! It's a real pain in the neck.

Kevin Zane    October 8, 2011 at 9:42am

Great purple hair Rick! You should wear it to league

Taki Kawakami    October 6, 2011 at 10:29am

Purple hair!!! Scott Papa?!?!

Kevin Clouse    September 30, 2011 at 11:21pm

Thanks Rick! It was a hesitant celebration because I had no idea if it stayed in the bucket...BUT it did! Great one to ace!

Shout out to Alex Vahsholtz for making a disc golf delivery to multiple bag tag members at yesterdays K-State football tailgate party. That's going the extra mile for customer service. :-)

Bryce Willams    September 8, 2011 at 8:17am

Thanks Rick! Looking forward to next week.

Are you getting curious about when oh when the push for the "next nine" at Warner Park will start?
Go here to find out. --> http://www.discgolfscene.com/clubs/Disc_Fanatics_of_Kansas/news

Kevin Clouse    July 21, 2011 at 8:16pm

Thanks Rick! I only carded one bogey...hole 5 my first time around. I've figured out, that is the easiest way to keep a good score out at Warner. no bogeys....cuz there are only a few birdies to be had. Thanks again! cheers!

Yo! Keep your eyes open for Meghan's ipod. Apparently it was in an iphone speaker.

If you find/found it send her a message. Here's her profile --> http://www.discgolfscene.com/profile/19706

Eventually, I attended SSG and had a great time and scores! Thank you for encouraging me to participate that tornament. I was impressed that you went to there both Saturday and Sunday. Please get enough rest!!

Josh Carroll    June 28, 2011 at 8:57am

Hey, thanks for the comments. I was excited to start the league here in town and I'm surprised at how much attention it has drawn! We don't have nearly as many members as your Flint Hills group, but we're making progress. Can't wait to test my mettle with the Bag Tag League this fall.

Rick Petrie    May 8, 2011 at 1:43am

No sweat on missing a league night. I don't expect anyone to be there every time. We've all got things that get in our way of playing (sad but true).
I some weird twisted kind of way, I'm glad we have to deal with extreme winds from time to time. It keeps in interesting.
Regarding your score of 51, I looked back and yes it is the best league night score thus far this season.
Hopefully you'll be able to make it out to a Warner Wednesday again very soon.

Rick Petrie    May 8, 2011 at 1:38am

Ouch! Shoulders are no fun. Hope you can recover without any sort of surgery!
Hopefully you're recovered by June when we kick off the next bag tag season. The seasons are set up to run from June to May.

Kevin Clouse    May 5, 2011 at 10:00am

Hey Rick sorry I couldn't make it out tonight....I had to work. Would have loved to play in the wind with you guys!!! Sounds like it was a record night out there! Speaking of records do I own the league score record? 3 down?

Austin Cranston    May 5, 2011 at 7:51am

Hey man sorry I haven't showed up the past couple of weeks. I recently found out that I have problems with my shoulders and I'll be out for awhile, but I'll return as soon as I can.

Rick Petrie    August 23, 2010 at 8:29am

Jake, I've never been the most consistent about playing the $5 leagues at Tuttle or Fairmont so I don't really know how their going. What I've seen since Stampede has been pretty thin. Too much concrete in NYC for DG? You better get some going in Central Park! Maybe fit a couple baskets in Battery Park?

Jake Trochelman    August 18, 2010 at 7:28am

rick! how ya been? how have leagues been going around manhattan? no courses in nyc! i go from playin everyday to once or twice a month in jersey, it sucks! i need golf!

Rick Petrie    August 3, 2010 at 8:24am

Then IN you will be, just come out to Warner any Tuesday night at 6pm sharp. The Flint Hills Bag Tags League awaits!
