Brian Bochantin  › Pinebrook Fund Pad Day   April 16, 2021 at 1:19pm

Hello players,

There will be no in person players meeting Saturday morning. This is your players meeting.
Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required when you sign in or any other time you are near the store, tournament central, and in your groups if you can’t socially distance. Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.

As you get to Pinebrook there is the main correct entrance but there is also a back entrance that sometimes GPS guides you toward. We will have a sign at the correct entrance with our B.S. Bull symbol that will be put out around 7am Saturday.

For tee times before 10am you will park in the parking area close to the start of the course just on the other side of the large building. People should be out to direct you were to park.

For tee times between 10am and 11:30am you will be parking in the lot right as you enter the property and walking a bit to get to the start of the course. Give yourself extra time.

For tee times after 11:30am cars will be leaving as you arrive so spots in the two areas should be opening up at that time.

Pinebrook will be offering: At the entrance to the course donuts and coffee for breakfast well be available as early as 7:30, cost $2 for a coffee and donut. For lunch we will have burgers and hot dogs off the grill, drinks, and bags of chips for sale. Combo options will be Bottled Drink, chips, and 2 hot dogs or a cheeseburger for $6.

Check in 30-45 minutes before your tee time at the practice basket, we will have canopies set up. You must let us know you are on site. Be at hole 1 more than 2 minutes before you throw.

When you check in, we will be giving you your players pack. Amateurs can get either a dry fit polo OR a tee shirt and medium item.

Each card must have two people keep score. Open person must keep score via the PDGA app and another person any other way you want. I have set up layout ON PDGA site. PDGA.comscores code Pinebrook

Most cards have 3 players. If you only have 2 players then you can’t start. You will just wait for the next group and play as a group of 5.

Several holes have long and short tee pads, everyone is playing all the long tee pads.
Hole 1: Tee, within yellow circle & drop zone are only areas in bounds. Any OB shot may use DZ.
Hole 2: Must pass to the right of mando tree, any shots missing mando proceed to drop zone with one stroke penalty
Hole 5: Any shots crossing the property line marked by yellow posted signs are OB
Hole 6: Must pass to the left of mando tree 2/3 down the fairway, any shots missing mando proceed to drop zone with one stroke penalty
Hole 8: Any shots crossing the property line marked by yellow posted signs are OB
Hole 10: Must pass to the right of mando tree 2/3 down the fairway, any shots missing mando proceed to drop zone with one stroke penalty

For amateur payouts, I will be paying out top 40%. Once all players are finished in a division, I will award those prizes so you should stay around after you finish.

For professional payouts, we will be paying out the prize money via Paypal on Sunday. We will be announcing the winners at the event so they can be publicly recognized and give a few words.

For any tie breaker playoffs, they will start on Hole 1 playing all the shortest tees

Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.

For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before your round. We will value them as you play, and you can spend that value after you finish your round.

Registration closes at 6pm tonight. I hope to publish tee times around 7pm. This always leads to people having issues which causes some minor changes. If that happens, I will adjust accordingly. Tomorrow morning check that your tee time did not change.
