We are a just over a week away from the 2021 Jacksonville Open AM Weekend! Both courses are currently in the day 1 layout for all Jacksonville Open participants. Of the 256 participants in the JO this year 184 are playing blue pads (long pads) at Fore Palms day 1 so check your divisions pad assignment so you know what to practice. For hole 7 at Fore Palms we have swapped tee pads due to a downed tree on the left side has made the left side pad much easier. Therefore the red pad (short) is now left while the blue pad (long) is now right. Tee signs have been swapped and lines on pads have been painted accordingly.
After working out the logistics with everyone involved all players on AM Weekend will play their third and final round at Fore Palms 18 hole layout on Sunday April 18th. This will help tournament staff with payouts, trophies, and any possible playoffs needed as we will use bonus holes A-C for any needed playoff. Speaking of payouts those playing AM weekend will be able to use payouts at Tyler Searle’s RV or the Local Route RV, both will be on site for the weekend.
Tyler Searle and the Latitude 64 RV will be here for a flex start Friday on 04/16/21. This will be a PDGA sanctioned C-tier event in the 18 hole layout at Fore Palms. For this event just show up to TD central whenever you are ready to play and go out with next available card. First card goes out at 11 AM and last card out at 4 PM. Cost is $20 and is a great way to get a PDGA rated round for a low cost. Players pack for the flex start is a $10 voucher to the Latitude 64 RV, a stainless steel tumbler, and disc golf towel. There are no AM payouts for the flex start as it is 1st place trophy only. During the flex start we will also be running early check ins for the JO AM weekend so come by to get your players pack and all information needed for the event.
