Thank you for the reply, Ken. Out of curiosity what would the downside be to opening more spots for women on the front end? Couldn’t you then take folks from the wait list if 1-2 spots don’t get filled? Never been a TD, just wondering. Seems like you’re limiting the potential for the women’s division to grow by only giving them 5% of the spots on the front end.
Ken Olson Dec 30, 2020I've opened registration early for womens divisions in the past for that reason, and the registration numbers stay about the same.
Ray Davenport Jan 12, 2021Here to highlight that the Alamance Pro-AM (Burlington) had 25 women sign up within the first hour of registration. Might be worth tossing out old data given the growth of the game in 2020.
