Good morning,
I was informed by the City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department that for now we can still hold the event but need to modify the format to ensure that we do not have any more than 15 people together at one time.
As of this time, we will be moving to a tee time format of groups of 3 or 4 players at a time with a minimum of 12 minute intervals. This will keep any large gathering to less than 15 people. I will also require that when you are in the Tournament Central shelter, even though it is outdoors, that you use a face mask.
The order of tee times, as of now and subject to change is:
Recreational
Rec / Int Women
Intermediate
AM50
AM40
Advanced
Open Women
Open
Tee times would start at 8am.
There is a possibility that the tournament will be completely cancelled. I probably won't know that until Monday, Nov. 23.
There is also a possibility that if the tournament is not cancelled, that I could expand the field to higher than 72 because of the tee times. Again I won't know that until at least Monday, 11/23.
Regarding the loved Grip Equipment CTP throw off, that won't be able to happen. The bags will still be available if a hole-in-one (Ace) is hit. If not aces are hit we will then have a raffle from those that paid into the ace fund to award the available bags.
If you need to withdraw from the event, I completely understand. I will extend the time limit to withdraw without a $5 handling fee until 9 AM Tuesday, 11/24. If the event is cancelled, everyone will receive a refund without any handling fees other than the dgscene and Paypal handling fees that I cannot refund.
