The 3rd Group (Married Couple) wasn't in the doubles event they were friends tagging along and left after hole 9b. So was only 2 doubles Pro groups competing on card... You are correct I did assure you that anyone regardless if registered event or not can sign up for doubles as it is event aside from The PDGA sanctioned event Saturday and run by the local club. For doubles since there is not pre registration its very difficult to determine attendance or if any doubles teams will even show and within the last hour of tee off availability. My apologies as the Beeville Club is new and are learning how to do things. If doubles was run by Onestar event it would be option to tee as one group b/c there are other groups that are in division so you could of turned in a score to compete. My apologize that the issue came up, I wasn't aware that you 2 were the outta towners and if i was notified of issue and involved in the immediate decision making it would of been handled differently. OneStar drives for 100% player satisfaction, player experience and rest assure the event was a great success as we raised over 2500 for their Beeville Tee Pad Project and great feedback on the Sanctioned event. Now we know how we can grow so I appreciate the feedback..... Consider your next doubles round on me if you decide to give another future OnStar event a shot … thanks again and happy hucking dudes!!!
