The order is in! Please pass this info to anyone who may not be on DGS or just make sure that your friends and other competitors are familiar with these guidelines. There will be some immunocompromised players in attendance and in an effort to keep everyone safe i do expect all these to be followed for this event to go on, otherwise you may find you'll be asked to enjoy your Sunday elsewhere
1) absolutely no one is allowed in the Pavillion while I am setting up. Normally I prefer to have a little assistance, and normally this spot was filled. This year I will be the only one handling anything having to do with player packs and prize packs.
2) once I open up check in, I will ask for only 5 people under the Pavillion at a time. Please do not form a line, I will call it off a list that I make that will be randomly drawn so everyone has a chance to be #1 or #50. While you are waiting for your name to be called, please try to keep distance from anyone you are not in routine contact with.
3) while you are under the pavillion and getting your items, I ask that you please wear a face covering. I don't care your opinions on the matter and we don't need to hear them. At this event this is the requirement that will be followed.
4) you are not to touch anything except what is handed to you. I will have everything spread out and labeled with weight. All you need to do is tell me color, weight and plastic. I will fetch your items for you. Once they are in your hands they are yours so be sure on your choices. I will be using hand sanitizer between each player.
5) cards will be in 4somes. I would have preferred 3spmes but sadly with Spindlers layout I can't do it that way. Please try to keep your distance from your fellow players as best as possible.
6) do not handle anyone else equipment. Please clear the basket before the next player putts. If you are within 2-3 steps of the basket you may pick it up as a gimme if you so choose.
If there is anything else I come up with I will add it in at the player meeting as well as go over all these again.
