I spoke with the city of Troy parks and rec. I am told that as of today, 7/29, they are still banning organized sports/events from taking place at the park. Which means I will sadly have to move this event to a new course. This buns me out, by i do love using Firefighters for this event as I feel it is a great course for everyone to try new stuff out at, along with low risk of losing anything and a fun layout. With that being said, I will look to move this eve Spindler park in Eastpointe. I had thought about doing one of the courses in Royal Oak so its not too far away but I don't think I would have an empty Starr or Wagner on a Sunday. Odds are we won't have an empty Spindler either however, the walkers are usually lower at that park than say, Brys, and we won't be playing all 24 holes, just an 18 hole layout. However, I am open to running the full course if the players decide thats what they want to do. I'll leave it up to you all. You may comment here what you want to play but I will take a vote the morning of. If for whatever reason the change in venue makes you not want to play, I completely understand and will refund you if you wish.
