We're from out of town and didn't know was that the course was built around the old hatchery (snap chat location calls it a hatchery museum). The course is completely untamed. Grass was above my knees (32"+), tee signs were broken or completely inaccurate, and there were NO signs warning of the potential physical hazards.
I tripped in a grass-covered hole (which caused a pretty bad foot injury), my husband had to mess around to find his disc in a 'tank' that was filled with stagnant water (it wasn't on the tee sign or he would have been more careful with his shot), and our son's leg slipped between a grass-covered concrete pad and the side of the trail (thankfully no injury, just scrapes). We ended up leaving after 3 holes.
If you decide to disc there, wear sneakers and walk ahead to see what potential hazards there are before throwing. Hopefully Grayling Township cleans the park up soon before someone falls into one of the old 'tanks' and gets really hurt.
