What a night we had last night! The amount of members we signed up last night took us by surprise, but everything went smooth - special thanks to Rob and Todd for taking money and handing out the players packs!
Our season typically starts with a preseason which allows us time to consolidate our membership & scoring lists, handle financials, and smooth out the administrative logistics associated with managing 100 players. Please bear with us while we do this on the fly.
You can expect a scoring delay this week while we tend to the aforementioned tasks. Also, I'd like to remind everyone that we won't have points or handicaps computed until week 3 - again due to the lack of preseason. I'll post the week #1 and week #2 scores in the comments section of the league page and on our private Facebook page for scoring transparency. Once we get scores for week #3, I will back fill all scores/points and we'll also start following the overall scoring & point races. Week #7 will be our first glimpse into division based points and scoring.
See below for a few other reminders:
- Please ensure you put first and last names on all scorecards.
- When sending scores via the PDGA app, please send your score as "Share as file" opposed to Share as image. This allows for copy and paste functionality which makes our scoring process much more efficient.
- If you have sent your score digitally, it is not a requirement to submit a paper scorecard.
